http://limpingchicken.com/2013/07/19/ian-noon-dwp-phone/ – they were going to make deaf people use the phone to claim PIP. Now, after much protest, they’ve offered an alternative… Postal address. So much for the online system.

These aren’t policies but are unbelievable but true – appointing a Chancellor who can’t count, appointing a Minister for Equality who doesn’t believe in equality, appointing a Minister for Disabled People who doesn’t care about the disabled or fight for them when they’re being harmed by Tory policies, appointing a Minister for Health who wants to privatise the NHS therefore destroying it so that only a minority will be able to have healthcare, appointing a Minister for Education who obviously hasn’t had any and appointing a Minister for Justice who doesn’t want anyone to have justice unless they can afford it and appointing a Minister for Work and Pensions who wants to make the Social Security system a socially IN-secure system and would actually be better off known as the Minister for Legalised Involuntary Euthanasia.
I probably could come up with more but that might seem like sour grapes.

Have you heard about the new, Warm Weather Payment….. WWP.
The Coalition have concluded that as the temperatures in many parts of the country have exceeded 25 degrees for 7 consecutive days or more, they are entitled to reclaim £25.00 from each benefit claimant. The period for WWP returns will start on the 1st of July. A Whitehall spokesman concluded that the amount of money reclaimed during this unusually hot Summer, would more than compensate for the amount of Cold Weather Payments made last Winter…….
