(not satire – it’s the UK today!)
The coalition government has decided to outsource thousands of civil service jobs in the DWP, Defra and Environment Agency to a French firm called Steria.
You’ve probably not even heard of Steria but they’re an up and coming outsourcing company which promises to save organisations money by providing “a flexible model built on offshore service delivery” (Steria’s own words).
In Steria’s case, “offshore service delivery” means moving jobs to its massive offshore ‘global delivery centres‘ which are located in Noida, Pune and Chennai in India, Katowice in Poland and Casablanca in Morocco.
This shipping of British jobs abroad should be a big scandal – but it won’t be.
It should also be something both the Right and Left are united in condemning. But it won’t be.
It won’t be for the simple fact that – with the exception of the unions involved – very few people seem to know anything at all about it.
As usual in the UK today – we have to rely on alternative sources of media to spread the word about what is really happening in Britain.

Now if we could only outsource parliament to perhaps Tibet and let the Buddhist monks run things, we might get a fairer system and it would cost less too, it could come under charitable donations to their religious foundations.

There was a blog on Maude the Fraud addressing the centre for Policy Studies or whatever very right wing think tank it was – saying he was quite happy to have literally everything outsourced …even in tax havens …probably between 2015 – 2020 …then ” interestingly ” it was taken down …sounds like scorched earth policy …I know elements of UKIP would gladly see civil servants on the dole …people like Letwin etc in the Tory party are ideology hostile …remember there will be no NHS after one term of a Tory government

This all began – and has been going on for years – via The Lima Declaration; the foundation of globalisation. You mentioned in one of your posts Mike, UK Column, which was threatened over the weekend with a huge fine if they didn’t take down certain videos. If you google ‘The Lima Declaration’ you will – on the first google page to appear – come across an article on the matter by UK Column. It appears to cover it in a fair amount of detail.
