For the record, here are just a few of the views on the NHS – and other things – of leading members of the Brexit campaigns:
Michael Gove (co-convener Vote Leave) – in 2009 called for the dismantling of the NHS. Link here.
Matthew Elliott (chief executive Vote Leave) – is the founder of the Taxpayers Alliance – which has long argued for the break-up of the NHS and private competition in healthcare. Link here.
Philip Davies (Better Off Out Campaign) – once blocked plans to reverse private sector involvement in the NHS by talking out (or filibustering) a private member’s bill. Link here.
Dominic Cummings (campaign director Vote Leave) – once said less privileged children do worse at school due to what he called their “inferior genes”. Link here.
Dominic Raab (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – as recently as last month advocated privatising the NHS. Link here.
Peter Bone (campaign committee member Grassroots Out) – thinks the NHS should be forced to open up to US companies in the infamous TTIP trade deal. Link here.
Nigel Dodds (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – once campaigned for services to be legally withheld from people for being gay. Link here.
Steve Baker (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – in 2013 praised healthcare provision for the working classes in Britain before the NHS. Link here.
Douglas Carswell (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – in 2005 called for the “denationalising” and privatisation of healthcare provision in Britain. Link here.
Iain Duncan Smith (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – once blamed housing shortages on “pressure” from “the ethnic population”. Link here.
Lord Forsyth (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – in 2008, before Osborne and Cameron, was the first senior Tory to call for austerity and cuts in public services in response to the banking crisis. Link here.
Boris Johnson (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – once had to apologise for an article in a magazine he edited which claimed “blacks have lower IQs”. Link here.
Liam Fox (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – has called for “huge restrictions” on abortion, voted against same-sex marriage, and called for cuts to what he called the “wasteful” NHS. Link here.
Chris Grayling (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – in 2010 he said hotel owners should be able to bar gay people. Link here.
Dan Hannan (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – in 2009 called for the dismantling of the NHS, calling it a “relic”. Links here and here.
Lord Lawson (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – has argued pollution and global warming are good for the environment and cyclists are damaging London! Links here and here.
Priti Patel (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – thinks cutting disabled people’s support by £30 a week is justified. Link here.
John Whittingdale (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – thinks gay marriage will cause “distress”. Link here.
Andrea Leadsom (campaign committee member Vote Leave) – thinks the NHS should be forced to open up to US companies in the infamous TTIP trade deal. Link here.
Philip Hollobone (campaign committee member Grassroots Out) – also once blocked plans to reverse private sector involvement in the NHS by talking out (or filibustering) a private member’s bill. Also thinks the NHS should be forced to open up to US companies in the infamous TTIP trade deal. Links here and here.
Just saying …
You were just saying it very persuasively.

This should act as a serious disincentive to anyone thinking of voting for Brexit. If only because to be linked with this gang of right wing refugees from the bottom of the barrel is too horrible to contemplate.

You have to have 2 sides if you are having a referendum – In or Out, Leave or Stay etc. If those wanting to stay in the EU where the only campaign there would be no referendum so to make it fair, they are going ahead with a false vote so that we will stay in the EU!
Since before the referendum was even spoken about it had already been decided that the UK would be staying in the EU, however, it was supposed to look fair and have 2 sides.
As the government are already 2 faced, it was simple to say who was going to “play” at leaving and the chosen just had to tell big pots of lies which they are world class players at them.
It wouldn’t matter if 100% of the population of the UK voted to leave, we’d still get results saying it was close but the winners of those voting to stay would be 55% over 45% wanting to leave or thereabouts 😉

I just tried going to the site and was horrified to find myself directed to a Youtube footage of Rick Astley singing ‘Never gonna give you up’. I hated it 30 bloody years ago. Nothing’s changed.

Don’t forget that Priti Patel also wants to re-introduce hanging.

Tom Pride here gives a list of some of the prominent and not-so-prominent politicos behind the Brexit campaign, and their disgusting extreme Right-wing views. These start with the privatisation of the NHS, while others are racist, homophobic, or have the usual Tory contempt for the poor and working class. They themselves are walking incentives for staying in the EU, if only to prevent Britain falling completely into their hands, and the consequent destruction of everything we hold dear.

Well, well. The Remain camp is the domain of leftist, more-central-government types and the Exit camp is dominated by independent, let’s-try-something-different types. Stunning relevation.
In truth, most Brexiters are opposed to the cronyist TTIP whereas most Remainers aren’t. But let’s be honest, most Brexiters recognise that the NHS is an abomination heading at breakneck speed straight down the plughole. They also recognise however that decuisions about it – and its funding – are best left in Britain, although they know full well that in all likelihood that maens we’re stuck with it.

Fascinating how the arguments for exit mirror the debate about Scottish independence 2 years ago. Except its the Brexiters, who were so pro union then, are now wanting out of Europe. 2 faced, conniving, selfish….heaven help us all if they form our government after June!

the Brexit campaign people are just selfish plain and simple and you will never get rid of them
they go into politics for their own selfish right wing agenda but when broken down their view points are just madness and give rise to other countries to become violent towards their own people and to the dismantling of that country

This is really the worst sort of scare mongering and manipulation! We are not voting for these people personally. After the referendum the Conservatives will still be in government, but unlike the EU Commissioners whom we can’t vote out, we can vote for different MP’s and a different party in government at the next GE. Vote “Leave”

Privatising NHS is realy not a smart idea, just watch what happens now in the Netherlands, the costs for the people raised more then 4 times since they privatised NHS. The only benifit is for the companies who are involved with it
