Consider these three facts:
Cameron has consistently cut UK flood defences since he came to power:
England’s flood defence funding faces £600m shortfall
While at the same time spending hundreds of millions on bombing Syria and Iraq:
What’s the price to the UK of bombing Daesh in Syria? Clue – a lot
And now we have large parts of the country being hit by devastating floods:
Storm Desmond: major incident declared as police urge people to evacuate homes
No connection at all of course.

But his valuable and helpful ‘thoughts’ are with those suffering from Storm Desmond. The man is a terrorist.

What made Hurricane Katrina so devastating? The breaching of the Levees.
[All of the major studies concluded that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the designers and builders of the levee system as mandated by the Flood Control Act of 1965 is responsible. This is mainly due to a decision to use shorter steel sheet pilings in an effort to save money.] From Wikipedia.
Like them, our government has obviously never heard of ‘A stitch in time saves 9.’ They’d rather spend the money on ‘defensive’ bombs and missiles than real defences that actually work.

I’m just not sure about the Cameron government’s planned tactic of dropping barrel bombs [normally associated with pernicious President Bashar Al-Assad of Syria] upon the already flooded-out innocent citizens/householders of Keswick, Hawick, Carlisle, and so on… “Eh up, up North, Laddie…” — Cameron would surely be better off identifying Britain’s weak spots, when it comes to deposits of excessive rainfall, perhaps linked to so-called ‘Global Warming’ phenomenon — or he could invest in ‘cloud-busting’ to break up these heavy-weight clouds of rain before they release their deadly discharges…. Just saying… — At the end of the day, I think Cameron is a brainless pandering numptie who will always be willing to do the pernicious bidding of his slave-driving, bullying masters who pull his puppet strings…. sorry to be so cynical.
