Compassion has resigned from the cabinet claiming it had become a distraction after seven days of hostile headlines over accusations that it had been over-claiming its own worth in government.
The departure of any ability to give a toss is a huge setback for David Cameron, who had attempted to save his career by pretending to give a hoot but has now been forced to accept the long-awaited resignation of compassion from the government.
In its letter of resignation to the Prime Minister, compassion wrote:
“It has become clear to me that my presence in the cabinet has become a distraction from the vital work this government is doing to turn our poll ratings around and win us the next election.“
Experts say the resignation of compassion is particularly damaging as it comes after a string of other recent high-level resignations from the coalition – including empathy, humanity and competence.
Downing Street said the prime minister was sorry to receive the letter but accepted the resignation and announced the position of compassion in the cabinet would be taken by total indifference and a complete inability to give a shit instead.

They think their going to get back into power in the next election ? Are they delusional or off their heads to think they got any chance of getting back into power. Voting is like choosing which bullet you want to be shot in the head with .

Satire is humour derived from irony so I guess if you can bend your imagination enough to find Condem policy laughable, you could call the last 4 years a satire.
Or a comedy of errors. Sadly it’s an ongoing world wide travesty of justice. As just one barely standing victim I say – we are still breathing so we must fight back for all the silent victims who no longer have the freedom of speech.
I don’t mean ‘taking up arms’ I mean getting ‘Up in arms’ – unite, resolve your petty private differences and look UP to stare your real enemy in the eye. #onewomanarmy

Why can’t Govt ministers make a decent fist of an apology, if they have fouled up? Don’t they ever learn these things at Eton and Harrow Public [i.e. private and very expensive] Schools??
On the one hand we have witnessed the cold-hearted indifference, obfuscation and smug complacency of Maria Miller MP;
On the other hand — down in a South Africa Courtroom — we have witnessed Oscar Pistorius reducing himself on a daily basis in the witness box to a blubbering gibbering self-pitying wimp of a man;
But then again, I suppose it must be difficult to know how to say sorry for shooting your beautiful girlfriend dead, 4 times over…..

This is so obviously a sarcastic post, compassion was never in the cabinet nor has it ever been a party member.

Loving this one 🙂 Sad really, but it’s reality in many ways – not that there has ever been compassion, empathy, humanity and competence in this government at any time.
