There is still great stigma and fear about women and their right or access to sexuality, contraception, the right education and abortion.
Many women and girls still do not come forward when abused and raped and if a pregnancy still cannot come forward.
Girls from religious and cultural background can still not be open about mistakes, losing their virginity or rape and incest without serious repercussions.
Despite all declarations of so called womens equality, emancipation and access and right to right information, sexuality and contraception and abortion many still in fit of shock and fear and fear of own community and family will make their own choices and decisions
Often seriously endangering their own lives as well as the babys.
I would like to reduce the incident of use of abortion but that wont happen as long as we have ignorance and pressure of religion and culture if a girl is not perfect or appears perfect
In some cultures it would mean DEATH to have had sex, even if it was rape and got pregnant.
A mistake and attempted self abortion is often covered up and confidentiality of professionals nurses and medical doctors is absolute. Fear wont make anything better. but drive things underground and to desperate measures.

Maybe males having sex without due care could be reported for malicious neglect of consequences.
Tie a knot in it or take responsibility, it is not worth it to get an unwanted child of an unwanted abortion.
