Tory candidate for London Mayor Zac Goldsmith likes to boast (somewhat like Donald Trump) that he’s so rich he can’t be bought:
Which makes me wonder why he allowed himself to be bought by a Tory donor at the Conservative Party’s Black and White Ball last night (the Spectator):
And a piddling £35,000? For a whole day of Zac’s time? Pah! Some people pay that for just one bottle of bubbly.

Zac Goldsmith MP highlights the need for consumers to use their purchasing power to keep GM food out of UK supermarkets. He calls for a return to the ‘human scale’ for our food system, heeding the importance of living within our ecological means.

More greed, venality and corruption from the Tory party. Here the good Mr Pride documents how the supposedly ‘Mr Clean’ Zac Goldsmith, instead was bought for £35,000. That’s the price someone paid to go campaigning with him at another Tory fundraiser. There’s a guy in America demanding that bought politicians should wear sponsorship badges, like the racing drivers in Nascar. He’s absolutely right. They should have to wear them over here. And the Tories would be absolutely covered in them.
