Some quotes from an account in the Leicester Mercury today of a boy abused by MP Greville Janner:

The dying words of his mother: “Nail the bastard, John.” The message stays with him.
There’s nothing I can add. Read it and weep:

They are an absolute disgrace to this nation , all people involved should be prosecuted and dismissed. They have no excuse , they know better . Yes his mother is right , I too hope that John ‘nails’ the bastards .

Dreadful. And just to show us the contempt with which the wealthy and powerful treat all of us, a ‘report’ has apparently just come out sanctimoniously stating that ‘the police should have investigated earlier’. Which they would have done had they not been ordered not to.
