Why has George Osborne cut millions from flood defences over the last few years? When he knew it could result** in the recent devastating deluges?
Could it be because he’s due to make millions by charging 20% VAT* on the repairs?
No connection obviously …

*Nope – it’s not the EU’s fault. Holland received an immediate VAT exemption on flood defences when it asked for it. Osborne hasn’t even bothered to ask for an exemption.
**Handing over millions in taxpayers money to his grouse shooting pals won’t be helping the situation much either.

The usual rubbish from Tom. No doubt a Labour government would have had a very similar policy. They certainly did as New Labour and as JC only appeals to old Labour activists and young people who don’t know JCs tarnished history then there won’t another Labour government until the centre left reasserts itself as it will one day.

Whether New Labour would or wouldn’t have done the same is a red herring. The fact is that Cameron and the Tories DID and need to be exposed for the dreadful decisions they are making and their effect on the UK population. The first job of a government is to keep their people safe. The Tories seem to be waging wars of aggression, neglect and attrition on all but the superrich.

I feel that the Government in power has a lot to answer to the people living in Britain.

This law is the reason for the flooding of our towns and cities since 2000. Simply put because of this EU law and Labour who were in power at the time we are no longer allowed to dredge our rivers , canals and streams leading to them overflowing and flooding the surrounding areas whenever there is heavy rain.
So please remember this when voting on EU membership.
