After brave police officers fought off terrorists in London – in some cases with their bare hands – they were universally hailed as heroes:
Well, not quite universally.
Because when it comes to fighting terrorists, Nigel Farage’s team and UKIP supporters seem to think our heroic police are an “embarrassment” to the country.
Farage’s head of communications is someone called Dan Jukes.
Jukes sarcastically tweeted yesterday that British police are no match for terrorists after officers were seen dancing at a Manchester parade:
And when Farage supporters crawled out of the social media woodwork to call British police officers an “embarrassment” – Farage’s hand-picked communications director agreed:
Dear Farage and co. I’ve got news for you.
Our police might be able to dance. But that doesn’t mean they wouldn’t be able to boogie on over to the most brutal looking terrorist or criminal and put them in their place at the drop of hat if called on to do so.
Mind you, from his profile picture, armchair warrior Jukes doesn’t look like he’d be much use at the sharp end of a terrorist attack.

This sort of behaviour is what one would expect of the Useless Knaves, Idiots & Plonkers (UKIP for short)

How DARE he! There is plenty of filmed proof of the bravery and commitment of the police officers who fought off terrorists in London. They proved themselves to be courageous and the vast majority of the people who followed the reporting of this event, are grateful and proud of them.
Farage is the biggest embarrassment to this country. When Trump went to Europe to gain support for his status as POTUS, he snubbed him. Even Trump finds him to be unworthy of notice.

Well, try asking for help when you’ve been robbed, and see how far you get.

That inanely grinning buffoon “Wooster” Farage is the embarrassment. He would p**p his immaculate cavalry twills if he had to confront a knife wielding fanatic.

Jukes’ site is well-named. There is no logical connection between police dancing at a parade and their capacity to fend off attacks by whoever might choose to attempt to attack. Unless, of course, it happened to be at the same time, which is improbable. In other words, the point he’s trying to make is just that: a non sequitur. Their efficiency in policing is as unrelated to their dancing here as it is to their taking milk in tea (or not). Intriguing to note that another group opposed to dancing is, of course, the Taliban.

The same goes to you too Willson, LL.B. Fucking grow up! Plenty of people shit or piss themselves when faced with extreme fear. It doesn’t matter. What matters is if you carry on and do what you were trained to do.

One more thing…… you accusing somebody else of being an “armchair warrior” is such a massive fucking hypocrisy that don’t know how to express my contempt for you.

Nice one, Thomas, by the way. Hopefully UKIP will do us all a favour and just “kip” from now on.

The embarrassing Kippers won’t be satisfied until we have an American style militia police force in the UK. Trump has just given them access to yet more military equipment. Perhaps Kippers should go and live in the US with their KKK pals and see what it’s really like to have to live in a country like that.

Doubt if the family of the woman who died as a result of that convicted reckless cyclist’s actions are saying that, or those whose relatives and friends have been abused, raped or murdered and the perp(s) put behind bars after hundreds of hours of committed police investigative work (how much unpaid overtime?). Meanwhile, “The State” led by Theresa Maybe I will, Maybe I won’t are cutting police personnel and resources, right, left and centre.

None of us know how we will cope with an extreme situation such as a terrorist attack until it happens. Saying that some person you’ve never met would be ‘cowering in a corner’ or ‘pooping his pants’ is the kind of mentality I would expect from a child, not a serious political blogger or an (apparently) qualified lawyer. I also have to agree that the “armchair warrior” quip from an anonymous blogger in the comfort of his chair is pretty hypocritical.
It’s time you all grew up.

LL.B degree opens the door to a lot of careers other than that of “apparently qualified lawyer”, an assumption that is ludicrously wide of the mark, and, in my experience, once so called “serious political bloggers” start playing the man/woman they start making such wildly inaccuratw assumptions, and proceed to post a vast amount of “childish” tosh, Perhaps I should have written that “Wooster” Farage might emulate his Wodehousian alter ego by showing the courage and mettle to knock a policeman’s helmet off his head and relay the experience to the “Drones Club”, but would not have the personal qualities to deal with the kind of incidents that officers have to deal with daily, but, of course I am making an assumption….

Met some cracking decent police people ,met some total sh’t bag ones, but I think they should begin to work for their communities again and arrest virtually every MP over the last 40 years.
Pay for them who do political beck and call is grossly overpaid, work they do for the people is grossly underpaid kind of thing in my mind.
Tax payers coffers for tax payer protectors ,pay them double .
