The Tory party seem to be in complete panic mode over this story.
Coming just days before the election, the news about a 4-year-old boy having to spend hours on a hospital floor because of the lack of beds …
… is really in danger of damaging Boris Johnson’s election chances:
Which is probably why thousands of fake news bots are at this very moment being used to spread disinformation to discredit the story across social media.
The bots are spreading fake news that the picture of a sick boy on the floor of a hospital in Leeds was staged by his mother. We know this is fake news because management at the hospital have confirmed the original story that the boy had to spend almost 4 hours without a bed and have even apologised to the family.
But the bots are successfully targeting influencers and local groups across the UK mainly on Twitter and Facebook with identical fake news tweets on Twitter and Facebook posts:
The bots are posting the exact same words on thousands of accounts across social media:
Even some so-called mainstream press ‘journalists’ – such as @allisonpearson at the Telegraph – have already fallen for the fake news.
Not all that surprising – Allison is clearly not very bright. She also fell hook line and sinker for the infamous fake news story about the little girl and the Muslim foster parents:

The only way to combat this fake news from the Tory Party is to share the debunking of it, before too many people start believing it.

There’s a clue in that there is no “Leeds Hospital” as such. There is St James’ Hospital and there is the Leeds General Infirmary. No-one working in the NHS in Leeds would call either of them Leeds Hospital.

Boris’ reaction was definitely real so in fact the validity of the story or otherwise and indeed the use of bots or otherwise are irrelevant, frankly he’s not fit to be a politician, let alone PM and I woldn’t trust him or any of the forefront of the current Tory party to keep the NHS alive and well (or the rest of us) under any circumstances, especially since John Major, Michael Heseltine and Tony Blair agree too – though I’d have to trust the opinion of the first two of those most……

You have to marvel at the sheer stupidity of the Tories and their publicists.
Are they suggesting that keeping a sick child on a trolley for 4 hours is OK?
I guess it is better than being on the floor but neither is a proper choice.
It simply shows how desensitized to austerity in the NHS they have become.
No one should be made to wait 4 hours to receive acute tertiary NHS care.
Why don’t the Tories get that? Because they don’t care about the NHS?

For the morons claiming this is fake, no, that isn’t a saline line… your google Dr certificate has obviously failed you this time around so let me clarify that it is actually an air line, attached to a mask, for him to breath properly. The “bed” in the right of frame is in fact a trolly for equipment, as evidenced by the black baskets you can CLEARLY SEE if you arent completely blinded by biggotry and hate, and isn’t even wide enough to be a hospital bed (again, easily seen by the spacing of the wheels)

For all the time that has been wasted on disinformation campaigns, they could have actually come up with a solution to a very real problem. But nope, this government would rather act like the Mean Girls and treat social media like their little Burn Book when confronted about problems rather than show an ounce of humility.
I don’t know who they are trying to appeal to by behaving like this, acting like an undignified little clique, but frankly they shouldn’t be allowed anywhere near the voting booth.

Poor helpless Boris,even after being the only Party LEADER refusing to be interviewed by Andrew Neil, the Tories are still needing to hand out bribes to dishonest people who will be happy to write identical letters to say that the child’s MOTHER took the picture of her little boy lying on a hospital ward floor. This is so obviously a Tory fake.. Those of us who’ve worked in hospitals know that ’emergency cases’come into A & E and when they need to be admitted there isn’t a bed ! So you have a sick child with symptoms of pneumonia who needs to be treated and kept warm. We’ve been reminded daily of how many thiusands of beds have ‘gone’ since 2010 – so – do you think people read these figures and think no good going to hospital there are no beds ? or do you think a worried Mum, with a very sick child thinks, there may be a bed when we get there and there wii be a Doctor, I must do everythingI can for my child ?

If you look under the photo you will see the name Ben Lack,he is a professional photographer in Leeds,also there is a hospital bed on wheels next to the lad.The pipe going up is a oxygen pipe it should be under the lads nose like in other photos but has been staged to look like a drip……prove me wrong.

I spent something like 36 hours on a trolley after admission to emergency. There were no beds available. I had the best treatment ii could possibly have had probably better than a ward as all the first line troops were at hand. No complaints. I’m still alive – many thanks NHS.

It was started by the Tories of course and if you look on Twitter, all the posts from the bots are the same!! That is, if you have even half a brain, a bit of a giveaway. The parents have already received an apology from the hospital. Why don’t you all go there and ask. I am so angry that people can be so stupid and, even though it has been proved the story was of course, fact, they still spread their vile lies. Just a thought did the hospital run out of chairs as well. If that was my poorly boy he would have been on my knee. I would have been comforting and cuddling him. As I say just a thought.

Why do some people try to defend the indefensible?

You should have kept the immigration down, hospital’s where pretty full before you let them in. The country is over flowing to the brim, the jar is full and overflowing there’s no more room .
