Has anyone else noticed how people who used to be regarded as foaming-mouthed, tinfoil-hat far-right nutcases, are now regarded as ‘centrists?

Are these people for real? Are they being tongue-in-cheek? Or are they just really thick?

I have it on good authority that those filthy leftists can easily be identified by colour, religion, or nationality.

I discussed this on another forum. I said I could not understand how the leftish views in my youth seemed to be even more left-wing today; and that they hadn’t become right-wing, as seems usual in old age.
His view, and I think he’s correct, was that I was originally a bit left of centre; but today the centre has moved so far to the right that I seem to be so much more left-wing today. But I’m really in the same place as always.

Just because somebody calls himself a centrist it doesn’t mean he’s regarded as a centrist! Who the f*** is he anyway? Is he even regarded as anything by anybody?

This is, of course, part of a carefully calculated strategy – which goes hand in hand with the “there are two sides” equivalency. And also with the use of terms like Social Justice Warrior. Imagine making the words social justice mean something negative?!? It’s extraordinarily manipulative.

Iain Duncans social justice think tank group is the very tip of negative social justice..so he’s already managed to manipulate it along with his tory pals I’m sad to say…….I call words the once but now evil words ‘social justice’ , ”fair and just for all” instead and leave IDS’s twist of word use in the out for the dung tip pile.

Only imbeciles believe in centrism nowadays. Brexiteers are slightly different but come close if they are unable to admit they were duped. The EU isnt ideal but change cant be made from the clear beholding position brexiteers voted for when they were duped.
Think about this. Auschwitz housed the equivalent of their families duped by Nazis and polish politicians. Poland and EU have Donalda Duska who is the grandson of a Nazi supporter. Who did May hand her letter to trigger article 50 of the Lisbon treaty? – Donalda Tuska.
