Thugs from Thurlow Hunt are currently under investigation by police for assault and illegally killing a fox on Boxing Day:
So it seems incredible that just days later, Barnadiston Hall Primary School in Suffolk – with children as young as 7 years old – would invite the thugs to pay a visit:
Presumably to explain to their children how much ‘fun’ it is to watch defenceless animals being ripped apart alive by dogs?
Fox hunters and their thuggish supporters are getting increasingly panicky over the massive scale of public opposition to their disgusting predilection for tearing beautiful British wildlife apart for so-called ‘sport’.
And targeting primary schools shows the prospect of the hunting ban not only continuing but being strengthened, is leading hunters to take more and more desperate measures.

Banning organised hunts is the beginning of civilisation of the upper classes. Taking away these so called privileges is long overdue. All comments welcomed.

It good news that the police are taking proper action against hunts which break the law. I thought from what was written in previous blogposts that the police were only interested in protecting the hunts.

You’re falling into the trap of underestimating the abilities and morals of those school kids. They have far more knowledge and understanding than kids of the same age 30 years ago. They might enjoy petting the dogs, but they are perfectly capable of ignoring the rhetoric from BOTH sides and making up their own minds about the morality of hunting. They would take your blog with the pinch of salt that it deserves!

School children only have the voice of a school teacher who will feel intimidated and not challenge the morality of Hunting foxes. Presumably the alternatives and lack of efficacy of Fox Hunting, and sheer cruelty will not be focus of the supporters. There will be many topics omitted and yet it will be reported as a ‘ full consultation with young people in the community.All comments welcomed
