At the moment, George Osborne and other Tories are trying to smear Jeremy Corbyn with untrue claims the Labour leader pledged to scrap university student debts.
So this is probably a good time to share this 2003 letter from Osborne, pledging that a Tory government will scrap tuition fees:
Of course, Osborne and co. didn’t just break their pledge to scrap tuition fees.
They tripled them.
Awkward …
.
Here is an archived copy of the pledge Osborne was referring to (now deleted) on the Tory Party’s own page:

Please share! Thanks.

ALL THREE of the main parties have BLATANTLY lied to us about tuition fees in the last 20 years. You can’t believe a single one of their so-called ‘promises’.

By the time we had a Conservative Government the money that could have been used supporting Students had been spent in fruitless Socialist pet projects that failed to deliver and bankrupted the country in the process. We are still paying for their past mistakes today so to suggest Student debt can be wiped out and student loans abolished is blatant vote bribery Labour would never honour!
The opportunity to help students has been squandered by Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. Corbyn still doesn’t realise but then his are 1970’s politics again so should we be surprised? Corbyn would deliver yet more Winters of Discontent! Promises he will deal with it? More like dealing with ever card a joker!

First up you cant bankrupt a country ,so your off on a bad start if your doing fact chat..
Second Corbyn has never said scrap ..osbourne did though ..
Socialist pet projects brought you 1 million improvements in a society fed up with feudalism or tory spite machine if you want to be an up to date today person.
Spending public money on ‘the publics interests’ has always been a bitter pill for selfish me me me greedy folk who still seem to think they are entitled to not look after anyone else ,its a fair old ding dong discussion with both sides having valid points and demented lunacy ..however ,,childrens education is free in any democracy run by caring adults ,full stop ..if you need to ask why ,then your a tory voter or a selfish loon.
Corby said he would do everything in his power to make education pay for all not all pay for education ..see 🙂
Socialist pet project s ..end world poverty, free education and health for all, decent standard of living for all on earth,Saving wildlife from money mafia business, ending arm sales, ending nuclear threat ,stopping climate change …and on and on.
Tory pet project ,help self ,keep all to self ,give only what needed for control, take off whoever needed for gain, kill animals for gain or sport ,hirachy institutions, money is power .and on and on.
So ,ideal leader would create wealth but then share it ..so as I say ding dong ,meaning all of them are playing the same game of right or left so nobody gets middle and right.
Blaming anyone in politics is child play …All Blame All and stick together ,then the balance might be found .and Corby is as nearer by miles than May ,full stop.
