But today sees an unprecedented coordinated campaign by the four titles – also joined by the Times* – to put immigration back at the top of the political agenda:

The move by the five titles comes after Labour moved significantly ahead of the Tories in the polls and a new survey showed voters for the first time put trade with the EU ahead of worries about immigration:

It seems the out-of-touch, aging Murdoch, Dacre, Barclays and Desmond still think they are able to manipulate voters’ thinking and the trajectory of public opinion.

We, of course, know better …
