The Sun has sparked anger after it photoshopped out a war veteran who was attending a Remembrance Sunday service with Jeremy Corbyn.
The Sun has now deleted the vile article – which was attempting to smear the Labour leader:
The Sun claimed the photoshopped pictures show Corbyn was dancing:
In fact, Corbyn was chatting with his constituent, Second World War veteran George Durack:
When are British people going to finally photoshop out of our country this vile excuse of a newspaper?
.
Bye bye Murdoch – how you can help set-up a media revolution in the UK

Doctoring photos to give a false impression and making up lies about it? Totally scurrilous, deceiving and inexcusable. There are no depths to which the Sun will not stoop, knowing millions of people will accept is as fact. We need a nationwide boycott!

This dirty rag is just one big fetid photoshot. They know they can post blatant lies and, thanks to social media, watch as they become ‘truth’ in a matter of seconds. Their job is already done.

I have read that among our poorer women, those sanctioned by our government and left penniless for long, um, periods, it is the practice to use The Sun in place of rendered unaffordable tampons. Well… that’s disgusting, but it’s clearly a better use for The Sun than reading it could ever be.

I despair of the media, they need to wake up to reality, not the media bubble of their lives. Most people I talk to are very impressed with him.

Well, if you’re going to try and smear the Labour leader with no citations, how about the fact that the previous Conservative Prime Minister (also the Queen’s fifth cousin) was photographed next to a known paedophile during a photo op during which he POSED a handshake with him? http://www.ukcolumn.org/sites/default/files/styles/main_article_image/public/Cameron%20Byrne%203.jpg?itok=_i48Ze8F Yes, that’s Michael Heseltine to his right and Common Purpose Advisor and convicted serial paedophile Matthew Byrne to his left. And shall we go there with Cameron’s statement to the BBC last year that the CSA Inquiry would not be turned into a “witch hunt”, “particularly against gays”?

What a vile excuse for a newspaper, all it does is try to smear people it doesn’t like and spread hatred and lies, the sooner it suffers the same fate as News of the World the better!

Not quite right there Tom. The photo was taken by Steve Back of Political Photos and the original is indeed Mr Durak being accompanied by Mr Corbyn to the Cenotaph. Steve Back, aka as “scourge of Downing Street”, has put the cut photo on his Twitter feed asserting that Mr Corbyn was indeed, “dancing” to The Cenotaph. Somewhat very odd given that Mr Back insists he has no political leanings!!! He has been seriously bashed by Tweeters. He immediately blocks them and re-issues the cut version of HIS photo as the original. Hmm. Might be worth noting that Mr Back is a magistrate!!! How does that happen. Both The Sun AND the Daily Mail lifted this piece. My question would be: how is it that someone who clearly lies for political gain become a magistrate? Who says Crime doesn’t pay aye?
[What’s “not quite right”? Thanks for the info but I know exactly who took the pictures and exactly who Back is. He’s been “seriously bashed by Tweeters” through his @politicalpics account after I revealed him in a tweet.] – TOM

Bullet , media and bomb ,
The brave souls do their best ,
As comrades put to rest ,
The memories running deep ,
Haunting while they sleep,
A soldier the salt of the earth ,
We know how much they are worth,
Through history we have seen,
In books and movie screen ,
Within this beautiful haven ,
Spinning in it’s heaven,
We all do run this race ,
Pray for saving grace ,
The sad wars still go on ,
Bullet , media and bomb ,
The heroes go to fight,
For what’s believed is right ,
To all the fallen dead ,
We know how much you bled ,

This is totally disgraceful. Newspapers have a responsibility to publish news of actual events not purposely misrepresent events for a particular political purpose.
