A few days ago, Tory Home Secretary Amber Rudd announced she would be “flushing out” and “naming and shaming” companies which employed EU migrant workers instead of British workers.
A good start for Rudd might be to look no further than one of the Tory Party’s biggest corporate donors – JCB – which has been advertising in Poland to employ hundreds of Polish workers at its plants in Staffordshire and elsewhere:
Could this be the real reason why the Tories have just announced a hurried u-turn on revealing the identities of the “guilty” companies?
Surely not ….

Its Bullshit as usual. Made up to impress the camera and armchair bigot with brain size of a gnat’s testicle.
Such ideas by Rudd are going to piss off migrant workers, piss off Ukip and racists and fascists and most of all piss off Business and Companies who are the main backers of Conservatives who are going to say Stop adding more bureaucracy and form filling and nano micromanagement, stop trying to run our firms and piss off out of it.
All hate nano micromanagement, especially when it is just there to placate and make happy gnat brains.

Manufacturer of world famous excavators and heavy equipment Gas – JCB has won just two major orders with a total value of 36 million pounds for the production of thousands of their machines. Therefore, the company has started a recruitment campaign to find a cast of 350 new jobs to factories in Staffordshire…
Most of these machines is to be produced in factories in Staffordshire – in Rocester, Cheadle and Uttoxeter. Only the rolls have to be produced in Germany.
JCB company has just launched a recruitment campaign. In its implementation helps JCB partner recruitment – Blue Arrow.
New jobs are waiting for candidates in Cheadle, Rocester and Rugeley, as well as in Wrexham, North Wales… etc etc
May needs to teach JCB a lesson and return all their tainted donations

Tory MPs are going to have to hire British workers to clean the moats surrounding their properties. However, they will no doubt claim the cost back by abusing the parliamentary expenses allowance like they have been doing for decades.

Why would anybody be surprised by Tory hypocrisy, it’s bred in (or inbred perhaps).

Excuse me, JCB are ,not doing anything illegal here as long as we remain in the EU. I think Ms Rudd is being a bit premature but it’s really not a bad idea to identify companies employing EU workers AND the skills for which they are being employed in order to find out what skills will be required in the future.
Then schools and universities can offer the right subjects and degrees and companies to offer apprenticeships so that there will be a British work force available in the coming years.
What has happened to the career services that we had in my time at school in the 1960’s who knew what skills were required in the immediate and the more distant future and could advise pupils how they might best use their talents.
Personally I think Tony Blair was wrong to encourage young people ONLY to aim for university. It has downgraded engineering and scientific apprenticeships and tried to make them look inferior. It has created a generation of graduates with little or no hope of future employment and universities offering too many non-vocational courses. There is NOTHING wrong with apprenticeships and I am happy this is now being seen as an equal or even preferential option leading to a career.
Mr Bamford is not an elected MP and there is no reason to suppose he ever knew what Amber Rudd was going to say till it was publicised, and IMO – misinterpreted.
