The Labour Party has suspended a terminally ill grandmother for a supposedly offensive tweet she wrote on 16/09/2015.
A quick look at Viv Chance‘s tweets on that day show the only ‘offensive’ thing she wrote was that MPs “don’t all represent their constituents” and “look after number 1“:
Outrageous! A member of the public accusing our glorious MPs of only looking after themselves! How dare she? Whatever next?
It’s an outrage!

I’d like to see them get £120,000 a year and absolutely no expense accounts they pay for everything then see how many continue to screw the country. Take away all subsidised food and drink and see how many use the bars then. Cancel all their cards that are government paid.

Do we actually know who ordered her suspension? This looks like a gerrymandering of the leadership vote by the Blairites, to use any lame excuse to remove people who will vote for Jeremy Corbyn. They seem not to care that they are making the Party look unelectable at the next General Election. In fact, perhaps that is their purpose.

These actions of ‘kicking members’ out of the party is bizarre beyond belief. This shows a simple minded arrogance of the Labour Party leadership. The ‘leaders’ behind this need to be exposed so that we as a party can try in some part to understand why they are willing to be a shattered Labour Party and not a united Labour Party. Ok we know ‘THEY’ are terrified of the support by thousands of new members for Jeremy Corbyn. What kind of juvenile thinking makes them think the rest of the world can’t see this happening? Dirty politics? Shameful politics? ‘THEY’ need to open about why they think Labour party should lose to the Tory nightmare yet again.

My husband has been suspended for a supposed incident on Facebook on the 29th June 2016 In ALL of June he made three posts wishing friends Happy Birthday! two to work colleagues and one to a friend, I have taken a snapshot of his activity log for June showing only the above three posts and will be contesting the suspension. He doesn’t have a Twitter Account & never has had, he also seldom posts on Facebook & he is not political. The only conclusion I can come to is the Party are randomly selecting people and by the time the appeal concludes & your innocence proved, it will be too late to vote.
This has also happened to a friend on facebook whose wife has been suspended & at the time of the said infringement taking place on Facebook was giving palliative care to her terminally ill son suffering with cancer & who has replied that in no way would she be sat at the computer at the said date writing abuse about Labour as she had more urgent things to attend to.
It is disgusting!!

Its about censuring bad PR on the internet and making sure all information is controlled.
That’s why internet/email surveillance is now legal

All this purging is making me sick. I have also been suspended after politely on three occasions asking to be removed from whatever email list the Welsh wind bag Mkii was using to send out his pale imitations of Jeremy Corbyns policies. On the fourth occaision I sent a less than polite email instructing smith to stop sending me his emails. For my trouble I have been suspended.
It’s a good job that I didn’t offer to smash him back on his heels, if I had I might have been reported for inciting violence, maybe he could have used a gob stopper?

You should read more closely: the accusation of sarcasm is clearly what offended, not some silly comment about self-interest.
The acusee clearly loves your Leader dearly and was mortified at the suggestion that they have anything less than boundless loyalty to him…

Hairyloon Sarcasm??? What do you have to say about Happy Birthday??? Is that offensive or abusive? It doe not matter who you support this should not be happening in a supposedly Democratic Party. I am FURIOUS at the Labour Party for this shameful UNDEMOCRATIC behaviour and if you support these kind of heinous tactics then that is your right to free speech & democracy, which unfortunately the Labour Party seem to lack at the moment. They are shooting themselves in the foot because although I do support Jeremy Corbyn and am very vocal in support of him on social media my husband does not which has caused quite a few arguments in our house. So with suspending him and not me is IRONY! isn’t it??
Even though we disagree I will still fight for him to get his vote because that is DEMOCRACY!
