The leader of the House of Commons and former Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Andrea Leadsom – the person Theresa May put in charge of looking after Britain’s wildlife – really really likes killing foxes.
She regularly attends meetings and fundraising balls for the infamous Grafton Hunt:

Brexit lets racists run out of population control. sad that so many were conned by their campaign. even sadder they dont see the links between hitlers form of ‘racism’ and what is currently happening.
Dont you realise the so called racism isnt confined to skin colour. its non- acceptance of cultural differences and this is a most divisive aspect of the current situation.
Some see this to be democracy in action.
Its not really when the brexiteers have voted for leaving then discovered the lies and now regrets their choice. Cameron, Farage, and others couldnt wait to resign to avoid accountability for the lies of their political careers. Blair and red tories may eventually be made accountable for lies but its sad to think people in the UK are so easily conned into believing democracy or plutocracy exists in the UK.
These have never and will never exist under the current electoral procedures and regulation which produce an elected dictatorship. even PR will not effectively create anything different. All comments welcome

Another great, and very revealing piece by the estimable Tom Pride. Oscar Wilde once described the fox hunting crew as ‘the unspeakable in pursuit of the inedible’, which exactly describes them. The clip in this video shows a member of the hunt roundly cursing in some very coarse language an anti-hunt protester, before telling her to ‘f**k off to France, where they shoot n*ggers’. It shows the coarse racism of the fox hunting set, who are friends of Andrea Leadsom.
These people will tell you that they are the real countryside, and the true voice of the rural community. It’s a very, very questionable claim. True, the Countryside Alliance can rustle up about 2 1/2 million of such thugs in their demos, as they did a few years ago. But many farmers and people in rural communities absolutely despise them. Apart from having absolute contempt for the opponents of hunting, they also have no respect for the rights, property or even wellbeing of others. A friend of mine grew up on a farm, and the farmers he knew hated the local hunt because of the way they blithely rode over others fields and pastures, with no thought to the damage they were causing to others’ crops or livelihoods. I’ve heard the same from my father, who grew up in Taunton in Somerset. And at College one of the other students came from Devon further south. He was very left-wing, and absolutely despised the red jacket brigade. In a notorious case, the local hunt had chased a deer into a local school playground, and torn the animal’s head off in front of the sprogs.
And from what I gather from friends, a taste for stupid, sadistic violence and cruelty is pretty much part of the mindset of the county aristocracy. These people are truly a disgrace. They should have no place in place power, and Leadsom should not get anywhere near No. 10.

whoever said this about democratos ( democracy) was accurate. However democratos restricted power of rule makers to service for a year. Not 4-5 years as normal for the office served by MPs today. any comments welcome but its worth noting the uneducated public plus no deselection process and and the MPs serving themselves not their constituents seems to support a case for changes globally in electoral systems worldwide.
There is also support for theorists who argue that democracy does not and has never existed in the UK.
this is because current first past the post electoral systems inherently create elected dictatorships.

oh i’m loving these arguments, I’m a neutral voter, living in a lib dem stronghold , who’s a miners ex wife, lived in South Tyneside, who went thru the 1984 strike, single parent who’s daughter is a graduate, home owner and countryside sports lover. Done the countryside/ townie argument again and again for the last 30 yrs,lived and worked both sides of the argument which I very much doubt many of your followers have. Your arguments have no relevance to me because I am politically neutral,but you are attacking my lifestyle which I resent intensely. Pick the bones out of that lot bonny lads … FTM

I was all for her for PM and then I heard she is pro fox hunting and wants to bring it back, well I can tell her now it might sway the Tory hunting brigade but it will not go down well with a huge part of the electorate. Anyone who is for any form of cruelty to animals of any description is not fit to become PM and does not get my vote, I will share this fact with all my online friends and to any Facebook and Twitter page I access.
