Institutionalised anti-semitism in the UK?

Looks like it to me. Jews are not necessarily zionists. Zionism is an extreme right-wing of Jewish politics, and the UK has that in Britain First and UKIP.

It’s interesting that there isn’t an example of Daily Mail antisemitism since 1938.
[Apart from the little matter that last year it supported a far-right German anti-semitic group whose leader likes to dress up as Hitler – you might have been right] – TOM

That Daily Mail piece was about a German anti-Islamic movement, and there is nothing in it which could be even vaguely be described as antisemitic. Perhaps you should read it again and then justify your description of it as antisemitic. By the way, claiming that dressing up as Hitler is intrinsically antisemitic is the argument of a fool… or a tabloid.
That aside, my original point is correct if the only example you could find since 1938 is so tenuous as to be irrelevant.

No anti-Semitism since 1938? In September 2013, the Daily Mail published an article on Ralph Miliband (father of then Labour-leader Ed Miliband and prominent Marxist sociologist), titled “The Man Who Hated Britain”. Ed Miliband expressed anger at the allegations, saying that he was “appalled” and “not willing to see my father’s good name be undermined in this way”, as well as describing the article as “ludicrously untrue”. Ralph Miliband had arrived in the UK from Belgium as a Jewish refugee from the Holocaust. The Jewish Chronicle described the article as based on anti-semitic writing from the 1930s, calling it “a revival of the ‘Jews can’t be trusted because of their divided loyalties’ genre of anti-semitism”.

Paul Bond – Can you tell me precisely which part of that article is antisemitic? If you can’t answer that question then your opinion is worthless. Here’s the link to help you…

Mr Pride provides us here with a helpful timeline of some of the racism and bigotry spewed out in its turn by that bastion of British decency, The Daily Heil. Also worth noting is the fact that Lord Rothermere, its owner, is so fantastically patriotic that he has his father’s non-dom tax status so he doesn’t have to pay tax here, despite the fact that he lives down in the West Country in a palatial estate. Which is more or less typical of the Daily Mail: hypocritical and hate-filled to the very core.

Was the 2012 incident separate from the one in January 2013 where they referred to Heidi Klum’s EIGHT year old daughter a “leggy beauty”?

Not disagreeing with the rest of it but a little alarmed to see oral sex causing cancer on a list of Daily Mail lies. Unprotected oral sex is a well established cause of mouth and throat cancers due to transmission of the same family of viruses that cause cervical cancer (HPV). Please stay safe people!
