Tory MP Lucy Allan – who is accused of faking a death threat from a constituent – posted a condescending video on her Facebook page yesterday attacking constituents who had complained to her about it:

Unsurprisingly, Allan’s ill-judged hubris had received hundreds and hundreds of negative comments from her constituents.
So well done Lucy.
Insulting your constituents probably not the best way to get reelected.

She has a very petite majority and holds what was a Labour seat for many years, so the tactic of smearing and insulting even a few dozen of her potential voters seems unusually dim.
Then again, she was quite happy to belittle a victim of domestic violence when the perpetrator was a fellow Tory.

Just another edition of “tories born to rule” here. This woman is an MP FFS???? Quite apart from being foul of mouth they are foul of deed. MPs are not our bosses – we pay them to represent us and are therefore our slaves. Today there’s another stupid MP from the Midlands threatening to knife Jeremy Corbyn. A civil war here is the only way forward to rid ourselves of there arseholes

Being a Telford resident: I can assure you there’s been a big stink about Allan’s antics, I am 62 and she has to be the worst MP we have ever had.
She should resign immediately, because Telford residents don’t want her and she’s [rightly] hated on social media too!

Andy speaks sooth. My step-brother was parliamentary under-secretary for paperclips under Benn. He had been a decent chap our of parliament, but once he had his own car and driver, that was the finish.

The MP needs to be disciplined. They were complicit in actions which could had potentially seen an otherwise law abiding citizen imprisoned under section 16 (Offences against the Person Act 1861)
Using activism as an excuse is a cop out, they could had ruined an innocent persons life for nothing.

She lied, compounded her lie, ranted how unfair it was she had been found to be lying, went full on attack mode to everyone who pointed out she had lied then acted like a spoilt child by deleting facebook and twitter – the equivalent of sticking virtual fingers in virtual ears and going “can’t hear you… lalalalalalalalala”.
But hey, she’ll no doubt blame drink, pressure of work, being a bit emotional, Jeremy Corbyn supporters, Jeremy Corbyn himself, her cat died, or some other made up random shit.

Lucy Allan here provides ample evidence that she is completely unsuited to a career as a politician. This reminds me of various incidents where some prat has had the police searching for a mysterious assailant or assailants after falsely claiming they’ve been attacked. It’s even less to wrongful arrests, where people have been accused of a crime that simply didn’t occur. I dare say that as an MP, she’s under a lot of pressure, but that goes with the job. It is not an excuse for lying and smearing your constituents.

The Magna Carta is the founding treaty of the British Constitution. Along with other documents such as the Declaration and Bill of Rights and The Coronation Oath Act, the people of this country have their inalienable rights and freedoms protected and enshrined under common law. These documents keep our nation sovereign, meaning we are all kings and queens in our own land with nobody above or below us but ALL under the law. Article 61 of Magna Carta allows for the people to lawfully rebel against the powers that govern us. The Barons Committee must petition the monarch to put redress the peoples concerns. The Barons indeed petitioned the Queen in March 2001 and Article 61 was invoked in law. The invocation came about mainly because the Barons had found various treaties such as the treaty of Nice, Rome and Amsterdam to be treasonous documents to the British constitution. Article 61 has not been revoked. Lawful rebellion is in effect today.
