(not satire – it’s the UK today)
According to a new report – compiled by company formation agents Rapid Formations – the UK is making £463 per second in revenues from EU migrants.
The report also shows that European migrants are better educated, better paid and pay more in taxes than the average domestic-born worker.
The report can be seen in full here:
Investigation into financial impact of European immigration in the UK
It’s good to have some real facts and figures about immigration for a change, instead of the usual xenophobic ignorance we get from most of the UK press.
By the way, while on the subject of immigration it’s worth pointing out on St George’s Day that under UKIP’s proposed point system – as a professional soldier from Syria with no family connections to this country – St George wouldn’t have been allowed into the UK.

Mr Pride here gives the latest figures showing that rather than being a net drain on Britain’s finances, EU migrants instead are contributors. He also points out that if an Australian points style immigration system were introduced, St George definitely would not be let into the country.
Don’t expect UKIP to respond to this news anytime soon though. Others have been making the same point before about migrants contributing more to the UK economy than they take out. The Kippers, however, don’t even seem to bother trying to refute the figures. They just seem to ignore them and carry on with the same old rhetoric. There’s a very revealing tweet about the Kipper mindset on this point over at SlatUKIP. This consists of a Kipper asking what it is with academics asking for facts and logic. He then simply states that he will stick to his views.
So, the Kippers prefer to ignore arguments based on fact and logic. Historians and political scientists have pointed to the role of irrationalism in the formation of Fascism at the end of the 19th century, when intellectuals revolted against reason and urged a politics based on emotion, intuition and will. And now almost a hundred years later, the Kippers, by their own confession, are embracing pretty much the same worldview.

We can laugh at UKIP just as if Hitler, Goering, Goebbels and his bunch of weirdos had a party in modern Britain the British social ecology would make them into figures of fun (As Orwell pointed out if anyone tried goosestepping down the street in Britain they would be met with howls of laughter). What worries me is that whilst UKIP out of power are a bunch of comedy characters, UKIP in power would very likely morph into something more like the tyrannical intolerant regime portrayed in the film V for Vendetta.
When the major parties recognize that little, backwards looking people like me don’t want to wake up one day in the United States of Europe where everything that we grew up with (our identity, our symbols, our units of measurement, our particular eccentric values and the petty ideas of who or what we are – yes we are hobbits) has been swept away for a cold, alien, modern, technocratic society.
You can’t fit a hobbit into a modernist Franco-German box because he belongs in his hobbit hole with his chintz, his culture and his history. UKIP may be manned by ultra-capitalists, loons and xenophobes, but much of its support comes from hobbits.
If the mainstream parties said “don’t worry little hobbits, your identity, your symbols and the sovereignty of Parliament are sacrosanct” then UKIP would almost certainly loose its hobbit constituency and sink into insignificance.

If Winston Churchill were here now he would rally the ‘Dunkirk spirit’ and order every fisherman or boat owner on the South Coast to put to sea to go and save all these African migrants off the coasts of Libya and Italy…oh, hang on a minute, these are not OUR people, are they??

And how much does it cost to pay out benefits or refuse to pay out benefits to the /british workers being denied jobs or the wage compression caused by an unlimited labour force.

St George never came to England, so it is a moot point. The australians dealt with the same sort of problem by returning the illegal immigrants back to here they boarded the boats, it very soon made it clear that this is not the way to migrate to australia, the morons on the unelected eussr commission should have learned this lesson from the Australians instead of allowing economic migrants free entry. Save their lives by all means but don’t reward them by allowing them to do what they are trying to do.

did everybody watch Panorama ? … people – tenants- living in the most appalling conditions in English cities, Social housing tenants are being moved onto south coast caravan sites, To facilitate the building of luxury flats -for investment/to let ?
Nobody is making a ‘compassionate’ fuss about this.
Is NOT compassion we need – is Justice.
