Time for a priority check.
The sacking of Jeremy Clarkson and the end of Top Gear is not a tragedy.
It’s just a fading multi-millionaire TV presenter getting sacked from a show well past its sell-by date.
There are real tragedies happening out there.
Get a grip Britain.
FFS.
.
PS It was desperately unlucky for Clarkson that his victim was an adult. The BBC has a long history of turning a blind eye to abuse of under 16s by their presenters.

With regard to BBC yes it’s made all the worse when they get a program like panorama to lie and stitch up victims and campaigners in order to discredit them and make them look like fantasists

Pingback: Relatives of German air crash victims send commiserations to Jeremy Clarkson on losing his job | Alternative News Network
Admit it Tom, you’re in tears over Zayn leaving One Direction. Who cares about tragedies, war and a (worldwide) political system which is slowly descending towards corporate totalitarianism, screw that, that stuff is boring when you have: CELEBRITIES. I mean you’ll never guess who likes to brush their teeth with tuna flavoured toothpaste.

I would say ‘rapidly’ descending towards the now unstoppable corporate totalit/police state run world ..with celebrities force fed you to make you humbled in how shite you are for not licking the coporate arse and being ”one of them”

As does the same North Yorkshire Police Authority which is allegedly investigating Clarkson’s attack on his producer.

I see Clarkson’s victim is being trolled on Twitter by Top Gear fans as being responsible for the ‘show being axed’, [sic]. As though Clarkson bears absolutely no culpability for what occurred.

The cult of celebrity. Maybe that’s a typo

@Barbara. Not a good idea all directioner sites will be awash with tears. I fear for society.

Tom Pride asks the British people to get a proper perspective on the relative importance of Clarkson losing his job. Sadly, I feel this will be wasted on the vast majority of people in this country. There are probably hundreds of good causes crying out for people to sign petitions on the political petitioning sites, like 38 degrees, Change.org and Avaz. And disability campaigners have been trying for years to get the government to release the figures of the numbers who’ve been killed by IDS scandalous welfare reforms. They have to struggle. Yet within a day, a petition to get Jezza his job back gets a million signatures.
I remember waaay back in the 1980s book came out talking about the way show business and its values were leading to the public dumbing down and the trivialisation of politics and serious issues. It was called ‘Amusing Ourselves to Death’. It just about describes the situation here.

So now we’ve got to cope with thousands of 12 year old girls (and boys, hey, it’s a free world), all sobbing because 1D are starting to split up. Mothers will be hard pressed to find 1D bed covers and matching curtains with just Zayne on it and while all that is going on, the government will be selling off the rest of the NHS.
Clarkson, good, he’s gone and I don’t care if he never works again, the arrogant tory and friend of Cameron – I hope he does get taken to court. Most of his fans are real brain-boxes as they support Ukip – innit!
The funniest thing of all? Asking Britain to get a grip – mwhahahaha, it hasn’t for the last 5 years and it’s not going to now. Sorry Tom, I think you are deluded but that’s perfectly understandable thinking that the majority of people in the UK will do anything that requires thinking about others!

Jerm is instructing his solicitors over a similar remark. I think you’re safe though, you didn’t actually say Jimmy Savile and Jeremy Clarkson in the same sentence (d’oh) I hear the police are looking to charge him and that a complaint HAS been made. Still, he’s rich and famous…

News is (and always has been) a mixture of important issues together with trivial public interest or amusement. The ranking of the stories is not the measure of public or press morality. Look at what isn’t there, not what is.

I mentioned in a blog of Toms about the other Jeremy i.e. Thorpe that North Yorkshire Police have had involvement with in the past and are still trying to cover their backs on which involved many others in a child sex ring in and around Scarborough and Whitby. This article outlines some of the issues and criminals

This makes me wonder if they will have the time to investigate and prosecute Jeremy Clarkson if the evidence suggests they should. Does the mentality still pervade the force that VIPs and celebrities need protecting at all costs. Hope not but on recent reading some of those still in post would be easily subject to cohersion by a clever lawyer who if involved in other matters, BBC related, would have enough inside information to use as levers.
With a million morons thinking only about their loss of a programme about flash cars and flash moronic presenters demonstrating the depth of selfishness that this Big Society has plummeted since Thatcher’s announcement “there is no such thing has society”. Do not forget that Cameron came out in support of this idiot.
Here’s one for you to work on Tom. Cameron has said that when they are defeated on May 7th he has been offered a position with Top Gear. Candidates must be able to withstand a good battering etc etc

jaypot You say,”hasn’t got a grip in the last five years” ? last 35 years more like, the day Thatcher told you all to ”shut up moaning” as she and her shareholder cohorts sold themselves UK’s assets then resold them on to anyone for more profits…but the bright side of course was she and co got the knighthood titles they so very much deserved..Baroness no less .
Poor bloody plane passengers and crew by the way and my sympathies to all involved..tragic and strange ,can’t wait to find out why the pilot just flew them all into a mountain side..
and mr Clarkson has been on the out ever since he mentioned his politics but in reality he has always been a bit of an arrogant half wit (well lot of) and fits into the left side of tory quite nicely ..possibly the right side as well as punching lower classes seems so much fun to that bunch of devil worshipping peado’s
I just pray I am alive to see IDS hang for mass murder.

Some phone-in dude said on BBC Radio this morning that “TOP GEAR long since ceased to be a Motoring programme but transmuted into an excuse for 3 overgrown schoolboys to enjoy sundry adventures and japes abroad all paid for by the British TV licencefee payer…”.. Having said that, Jeremy Clarkson’s passing is a national tragedy, and if he had been a paying passenger on that Airbus 320 from Barcelona to Oblivion then he would not only have lost his job, so he should look at it in this sober light and get a grip and not punch any more little Irish guys who are afraid to punch him back because that is usually called bullying.

THE CRUELLEST SUICIDE IS NOT A SUBJECT OF SARCASTIC WIT
The Germanwings pilot shut his co-pilot out of the cockpit and crashed the plane into the mountains as his suicide, taking all the passengers and crew with him.
Who cares less about two grown men have a spat over a dinner.
THE UK POOR STARVING IS THE REALITY
The poor are left to starve inthe UK, from babes in wombs to grannies and grandads..
We face a LABOUR / TORY COALITION from a second general election this year, with austerity cuts only increasing, with zero opposition left.
PARTIES OF THE POOR
The only way to utterly change Labour
is to bring to only way a majority government can be formed in UK parliament.
A multi party coalition with the parties of the poor,
now getting nil media coverage in nationl press or TV news.
Neither are the parties of the poor getting any coverage in blogs.
PARTIES OF THE POOR
– Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition (TUSC)
6th biggest party, running 125 MP candidates and 1000 councillor candidates in thye 6000 council electins, both on the same day,
and TUSC have proved time and again by deeds, not just talk,
are against austerity cuts.
– Mebyon Kernow
Running in all Cornwall voting areas.
The sitting Tory or Lib Dem MP in Cornwall have single figure votes to get them into the job in 2010.
– Class War
Double Dole and Pension
– Socialist GB
The 1 Green MP is Brighton Pavilion, but Brighton has other voting areas.
BRIGHTON KEMPTOWN
Socialist (GB) Jacqueline Shodeke
Claimant Count 9360
Tory majority 1328
Mostly these parties are not running against each other in the UK.
THE POOR NOW OUTNUMBER ALL OTHER VOTERS
IN HUGE AREAS OF UK, ESPECIALLY ENGLAND
Plaid Cymru in Wales and SNP in Scotland benefit from the poor now outnumbering all other voters.
In England, the parties of the poor are getting nil media coverage.
Only a coalition of ENGLAND MPs from
TUSC / MEBYON KERNOW / CLASS WAR / SOCIALIST GB
to bring about a majority government beyond 323-326 MPs and over
with the few votes gained by Labour
With the SNP and Plaid Cymru as support and confidence coalition as well.
This is the only way to shut the Tories out of power.
This is the Vote or Starve election.
Please share on your social media my personal website,
that brings together basic info about the parties of the poor:

Chris: It is becoming clearer that the Co-pilot of the doomed Airbus 320, Andreas Lubitz, 27, took advantage of Captain Patrick Sonderheimer’s temporarily leaving the cockpit, at 38,000 feet cruising altitude, to lock the cockpit door, leaving the Co-pilot in total control of the airliner…However, what he did was not suicide, because suicides act alone and they do away only with themselves… You surely have to call it murder if you deliberately kill not only yourself but also 149 innocent people as well.
That is why the term “suicide bomber”, to refer to radical Islamist murderers, is also usually mis-applied….
