So Clarkson punched the waiter because he spilled beans on him.
Just as well because there are too many bean spilling Spanish waiters coming over here taking our jobs.. Someone has to take a stand

If this waiter is for real and he’s not just havin’ a larf’ ……well, deary deary me, it just proves that Clarkson takes himself FAR TOO SERIOUSLY and he should lighten up and enjoy the joke and not be so: “GIVE ME WHAT I WANT—-NOW!!!” kind of bullshit demanding like….. Mind you, if it had not been Pedro, but Manuel the hapless waiter from Fawlty Towers serving Clarkson, then I guess that Clarkson would not just have punched Manuel but would have killed him on the spot!

I think that we can be fairly certain that this is a joke, a wind-up, because the Youtube poster ‘Leemondus’ [aka Lee Henman] says that it “is for parody purposes only”, and on another blog Leemondus admits: “Just want to share with you guys this daft thing I put together”, and Leemondus is known for posting parodies on his YT site… for example: “Teddy Bear struts his stuff to the Bee Gees’ Staying Alive” — which is less funny, but cute…. Mind you, I still want to know where he got this crazy pissing-himself-laughing waiter Pedro Lopez from??? Errr./…Presumably…. SPAIN! “….Bring me a PROPER serviette, AT ONCE, YOU HEAR, or I will break every single bone in your neck!!……” 🙂

The truth is probably a lot more prosaic: The chef had gone home… the [foreign] waiters were all playing poker in the back room [Jeremy Clarkson is xenophobic, and hates all foreigners] — so Jeremy was served by Lassie-The-Dog, who turned and pissed all down his trousers, so serve him right for being an arse…..

Tunefultony, one of the commenters, makes the point that this looks like a spoof, as the poster, Leemondus, states it was for parody purposes only. It looks like the poster’s taken a segment from a genuine Spanish TV show, and added fake subtitles about Clarkson losing his rag after the producer mopped up his tears with parma ham.
Whatever the truth of the incident, we can take this as the Hispanic world’s revenge for that incident in Argentina, and, indeed, for Manuel in Fawlty Towers.
