Mohammed Emwazi, the Islamic State (Isis) extremist behind the beheading of western hostages, grew up in EXACTLY the same city as Ed Miliband and graduated from a university just like the Labour leader did, Pride’s Purge can exclusively reveal.
The shocking links between Mr Miliband and the murderous Emwazi, who became known as “Jihadi John”, reveal that BOTH men grew up in London and went on to attend school and a British university as well as both admitting they sometimes ate chips and watched cartoons as young boys.
And detailed investigations by our reporters can reveal that when Emwazi was able to flee Britain and the scrutiny of the security services, despite being a member of a terror cell that was known to have links to the failed 21/7 attacks on London in 2005 – Miliband did NOTHING to stop him, despite living somewhere in the same city as the terrorist.
Blood on Ed’s hands
We can also exclusively reveal that one leading member of Emwazi’s network had a telephone conversation on the day of the 21/7 attacks with Hussein Osman – who was later jailed for life for placing an explosive at Shepherd’s Bush tube station – while records reveal that on EXACTLY that same day, Miliband also spoke to someone on a phone too, at least once.
And in a dynamite and shocking revelation, our investigations show that associates of the 12-strong west London terror group had joined the four 21/7 bombers at a training camp in Cumbria a year before the attempt to bring carnage to London’s streets – just 24 years AFTER Miliband also visited Cumbria on a school holiday to the lake district.
The revelations, contained in court documents seen by this website, raise urgent questions over how Emwazi was able to evade surveillance, slip out of the country in 2013 using false papers and re-emerge in Syria a year later to become the world’s most wanted terrorist – without MI5 even once waterboarding or torturing any member of Mr Miliband’s family or any other senior Labour figures.
Not only was Emwazi a “person of interest” for MI5 as a member of a London jihadi cell set up in 2007 to recruit for al-Shabaab, an al-Qaida affiliate – members of which as strict Muslims never eat pork – but in an incident that was caught on camera, Ed Miliband was also completely unable to eat a bacon sandwich nicely on at least one occasion.
A spokesperson for MI5 said security services had been aware of Miliband for six years before he appeared on TV claiming to be the leader of the opposition, but that normal terrorism prevention and investigation measures had failed to reduce the serious risks and dangers the Labour leader poses.
