EastEnders ‘who killed Lucy Beale?’ storyline takes a dramatic turn with Labour Party leader Ed Miliband revealed as murderer…..
In what could be the culmination of one of Eastender’s biggest whodunnit story lines, the Daily Mail can exclusively reveal that it was Labour leader Ed Miliband who killed Lucy Beale.
As the popular soap continues its Live Week in celebration of its 30th anniversary, we can confirm that in the episode shown last night, father-of-four Max (Jake Wood) turned to his youngest daughter Abi (Lorna Fitzgerald) and said: “She knows, that Ed killed Lucy.”
Fans of the show immediately took to Twitter to vent their shock, and there was some speculation as to what exactly Max had said, with some claiming the live line was “She knows, that you killed Lucy“.
However, Daily Mail reporters can exclusively confirm that Max said Ed killed Lucy.
The shock twist comes after speculation about Ed Miliband being the killer after he refused to respond to questions from the Daily Mail about what he had been doing on the night of Good Friday, throwing weight behind the theory that the Labour leader really is a cold-blooded killer of young girls.
However, fans on Twitter also speculated that actor Jake – when he said ‘Ed’ – could have been referring to Labour shadow chancellor Ed Balls, who in common with Ed Miliiband probably also has it in him to brutally murder young girls in cold blood too.
