(not satire – it’s the Lib Dems!)
Lord Ashcroft has completed some polling of Scottish constituencies and due to a security error on his website, some of the results have been leaked.
Here’s the polling for the constituency of Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch & Strathspey which is represented by Lib Dem MP Danny Alexander and who also happens to be the number 2 to George Osborne at the Treasury:
It shows a massive swing from Lib Dem to SNP, with Alexander due to receive less than half the amount of votes of the SNP.

Oh dear. Still, he IS a worst case scenario. Hand in glove with Osborne, part of the cabinet which betrayed LibDem values, part of the Better Together campaign which alternately threatened and belittled his own constituents, ridiculed over expense claims and hasn’t been known for doing anything for his own constituency. Will Nick Clegg bother with the huge cash injection to save him? Personally I think he’s beyond redemption. Bye bye, Beaker!

I don’t think many people south of the border will be sorry to see Danny Alexander lose his seat either. Especially students, who are facing a lifetime of debt due to student fees. They still remember with bitterness how Clegg and co betrayed them, and then had the gall to appear on TV trying to excuse themselves, with oily grins, that it was ‘the right thing to do’.

It could not happen to nicer man. He has totally betrayed any semblance of principle-co author of that orange book and a philosophy of ‘self first, last and only’. No different to any other Westminster oik then. Good riddance, wonder which directorship awaits him?

I’ll be glad to see the back of him and the rest of the Lib/Dems in Scotland, along with the ONE Conservative seat (I hope)!
I really do want the Lib/Dems party to more or less disappear after May – and serve them right!
