The BBC has strongly refuted accusations that it is biased against the Labour Party and the Green Party, claiming its news coverage is impartial and features a range of voices from the far right of the political spectrum all the way over to left-wing parties such as UKIP.
In a New Year statement, the broadcaster claimed that “all parties, no matter how loony and left-wing they are, are treated just as equally by the BBC to other more sensible parties such as the Conservatives or UKIP.”
In the statement, the BBC also strongly denied political bias, pointing out that Labour had itself refused several invitations to appear on the BBC1 weekly flagship prime-time economics programme “The Enormous F*cking Mess Left Behind By Labour – How To Tackle It“.
The broadcaster also claimed the Greens had turned down an invitation to appear on a BBC production aimed at providing an in-depth look at contemporary ecological issues to be broadcast later this year, called: “Global Warming: Just A Load Of Old Hippy B*ll*cks, Isn’t It?”.

Tom, although you label this piece as “satire” I suggest it’s pretty well factual.

The BBC is biased in favour of the government of the day, which is going to be hard when the predicted 4-way coalition of Tories, UKIP, Labour and SNP happens in 2015.
The 1 Greens MP Caroline Lucas will be lost in all this chatter in Westminster.
But if The Greens informed the best voters,
the over 60s, of the coming
NIL STATE PENSION for many of the
men born from 1951 and women born from 1953
– see if you lose out here:
https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/state-pension-at-60-now
On billboards in towns and cities in England and Wales, then these best voters would give The Greens the 326 MPs to form a majority government in London, that would not need any coalition partner and able to pass bills into law all by itself.
Why?
Because The Greens are too timid to put into their 2015 manifesto for the general election, policies on their website left in abeyance.
Ending starvation for all in the UK by ending the cruel benefits regime and the result of the denial of state pension payout since 2013 when the full and ring fenced National Insurance Fund is wrongly being called in surplus when it is the
non-paid out state pension since 2013.
The Greens’ policy website offers:
– automatic and universal Citizen Income, irregardless if in work or not – all just the same level up to the basic tax allowance
– Full State Pension for all citizens, irregardless of National Insurance contribution / credit history, to the same level as the Citizen Income.
If the truth of the biggest con in UK history of the flat rate pension was put on billboards by The Greens, to tell people they are left without food and fuel money with no or next to nothing far below the breadline state pension
https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/state-pension-at-60-now
Then the Greens’ policies would be seen as the life-saving policies for all ages from babies to grannies that they are, of only The Greens had the courage of their convictions.

I have never heard any blatantly biased reporting on BBC TV channels, and I do not know anyone else who has. However that old kipper Nigel Farage is biased, there’s no doubt about it; he’s always saying to colleagues: “Bias another pint, darling, will you?” 🙂

The BBC was guilty of significant bias during the referendum. One academic study proved it and the response from the BBC was to try and destroy the lead professor

Do a Google search for BBC Bias in the Scottish referendum and you will find extensive evidence of bias. Including bias in favor of the Labour party who were promoting the British line that is part of the name of BBC and is in its charter to defend.
