(satire?)
Stars including One Direction, Emeli Sande, Rita Ora and Ed Sheeran have recorded a new version of the Band Aid charity single to raise money to help Myleene Class in her fight against the spread of the deadly mansion tax.
The recording of the reworked Do They Know It’s Christmas – which also included Ellie Goulding, Sam Smith, Chris Martin and Bono – comes exactly 30 years after the original Band Aid song was released to help eradicate the severe famine of attention which was being suffered by large numbers of 1980s pop stars at the time.
Victims of the deadly mansion tax – a disease which effects humans and other primates earning over several million a year – typically display symptoms such as intense whining and constant bouts of moaning, followed by copious vomiting of bullshit from several orifices.
And in the final stages of the mansion tax, sufferers afflicted by the disease often experience dangerously high blood pressure resulting from a severe bleeding of cash both internally and externally from the victim’s tax loopholes.

Please feel free to comment. And share. Thanks:
The song should have been a cover of Manic Street Preachers’ Masses Against The Klasses!
Love, Barbara

Myleene Class has a point and it would have been a credible point if she was not a millionaire herself
she like all millionaires are never happy when there asked to contribute to a fairer society they see themselves as untouchables and life is hard but in reality there just selfish
Ed came off pretty poor as he himself is a millionaire and had he not been would have been more convincing in his tone of voice
at the end of the day the poor will just get poorer and society as a whole will just deteriorate to a point of no return

What next? Perhaps today’s pop stars will record a special version to raise Ian Curtis from his grave. Tony Wilson was of the opinion that Curtis was 10-20 times better than Bono. Imagine … a song in aid of dieing Africans sung by an European corpse.

Myleene Klass is someone who became a millionaire after winning a talent show on ITV. She has somehow moved from singing other people’s songs to being a talking head on various TV programmes and is in the news now for giving Ed Milliband a tough time in regards Labour’s proposed mansion tax on some banal ITV magazine programme. the clip of Klass and Milliband defines exactly what the problem is with political debate now.
One one hand we’ve got Klass claiming that £2 million ‘won’t even buy a garage’ in London and when pointing at a glass of water stating that ‘you can’t tax anything you point at’. Well, in fact Myleene, if that was bottled water you were pointing at it was subject to VAT, so it’s taxed and yes, government can point at anything it likes and tax it. It’s what government does. As for £2 million not even getting you a garage, this is also nonsnese, though you will have to look hard in London because thanks to house prices being over-inflated it’s becoming harder for the little old grannies Klass mentions to stay in their homes because they can’t afford to live in where they may have been brought up in. She frankly, looks and sounds like an idiot failed popstar trying to defend being rich and having to pay her way in society.
And Milliband sits there spouting the same old soundbites. Yes, helping the NHS is great but here was a point when Milliband could make a point of principle and say ‘actually Myleene, this mansion tax is for people like you and your mates who moan about tax. ‘ He could have stood firmly as a party of social justice and equality trying to control leeches like Klass, but he fudged it.
Still, it does look like he’s won the debate by default as the reaction to Klass’s out of touch bollocks has backfired on her, regardless what the right wing press say.
I hope this is a sign we might, just might have a debate about social democracy and equality in the forthcoming election that isn’t just driven by the SNP, Greens or Plaid Cymru.
It won’t be but we can but dream….

the main problem with Milliband is that he’s not grounded like you or i he does not live in the real world and therefore struggles to communicate the very basics of life
Boris Johnson is the same ask either of them a question on day to day life be it at home or work and their stuck
Myleene Class like most celebrities struggles to communicate real life also living in a 3 million pound house
i just wish i could struggle as millionaire

What drivel! Two stinking rich people who don’t have a clue, arguing about a tax which is purely about politics and won’t even raise enough money to buy yet another batch of missiles from America.

Miliband’s Mansion Tax clearly has a lot of very rich people rattled. One of the first things you see on MSN news when you log in the video of Klass attacking Miliband, with the title ‘Watch Mylene Klass take down Ed Miliband’. It also brings up and links to the Telegraph article. Whoever owns MSN news is obviously quite worried that their little home might be next. As for the Telegraph, it always was right-wing Tory, earning it the nickname ‘Torygraph’ in Private Eye. It’s owned by the ‘weirdo’ Barclay twins, who are highly litigious and own their own island, Brecqou, out in the Channel Islands. I wonder if they’re worried that Miliband will start putting a tax on that next, and are afraid just how much tax he’ll levy on those owning small islands, let alone mansions.

If the main parties don’t want to talk seriously about social democracy and equality, then why shouldn’t the smaller parties try to drive the debate?

I’d love to see the “celebrities” leaving the country – they can pay in large amounts to support those overseas, yet as soon as they fear that they are going to have to put their money into the public purse they are besides themselves.
As for the song – didn’t like it first time around and don’t know half the “stars” on this one so will give it a miss 🙂

Myleene’s wicked husband Graham ‘Not-So-Mighty’ Quinn walked out on the poor girl and her 2 young daughters so she’s had to quit her £2.5million home in leafy Hertfordshire because of all the painful memories so we should all show her some generous sympathy this Christmas-time by buying her charity single: “Do They Know It’s Bedroom Curtains For My Marriage??”

Just another Tory arsehole who has no talent whatsoever and if all these so called stars remembered where they were dragged up out of the shit holes they lived in, but because they now live the high life with money that they made from the working class.
The same goes for another Tory parasite Bob Geldof who with his millionaire mates should dig deep into there pockets among the loose change and they would find the millions they require for the Ebola crisis.
