European leaders have struck a deal obliging the EU as a whole to cut gas emissions from MEPs by at least 40% by 2030.
As well as the clampdown on inert gasses from EU politicians, a target was also agreed to drastically reduce the amounts of hot air being produced by members of the European Parliament by as much as 200 million cubic tonnes.
The moves come not long after scientists warned that the record-breaking amounts of hot air, wind and gas emissions emanating from Liberal Democrat MPs and activists to justify being in coalition with the Tories may also be adding significantly to the rate of global warming.

Curious. Nothing mentioned about inert members silently leaking noxious gas from their very being renting the air with the foulest of stenches. I wonder if these inert ones are going to be ‘capped’ from releasing any more noxious gases at all? damn, I really would pay to see that!

May I respectfully suggest that the emissions be directed to ‘said’ person who approves of Victor Orban, a truly nasty piece of work.(fascist as in re ukip- Poland). Said person sung his praises. I have no idea why ,as this is a frightening rebirth of Hungarian fascism. Thank you… must slog on…:)

A Hungarian who fled during the revolution….very old man now…..he is my lovely neighbour and very political. Some sought refuge in Australia….and when I lived out in Oz and went to College I met another….and very charismatic he was too 🙂
