(not satire – it’s the UK today)
Well this is a bit worrying.
An innocuous sounding bit of legislation called the Infrastructure Bill is making its way through parliament with hardly a peep of protest from …. well, just about anyone really.
Which is strange because the bill is about to give Government agencies carte blanche to hand over any public land – including countryside and forests – to private developers.
You can read more about this pernicious legislation here:
Parliaments New Chainsaw – The Infrastructure Bill
There’s still time for a public outcry to stop or amend this bill.
If only the general public knew about it.
.
Lots more information on how to campaign against the bill here:
.
Please feel free to comment. And share. Thanks:

Tom, I’d like very much to bring my MP’s attention to this, as, naturally, it worries the hell out of me. But I can’t do that unless I know what specific parts of the Bill to draw his attention to. Could you please help me out here, as I don’t have the first bloody clue how to read this political jargon…

This is in line with the United Nation`s Agenda 21 which has the ambition of privatising, monitoring and controlling all land, oceans, air, water, animals – everything upon which life depends, including us. It`s all being pushed in the name of protecting the planet from `climate change` and pushing towards `sustainable development`. It is being done by stealth so that most people are not aware of the grand plan.
It`s good that this has been brought to people`s attention. Agenda 21 can be found on the United Nation`s website and there is plenty of other websites raising the issues but it never gets to the mainstream.

Tom, can you let me know if this bill is for England or the whole of the UK as my MP is not allowed by law to vote on certain things in Westminster.
I’ll get it out and about on my social networks and my friends – it looks as though I’m going to have to set up a Twitter account so that I can share this, and other things with acquaintances *sigh* – I’m not all that clued up on these types of things.
I believe that woodland, forests, parks etc should be kept in the public hands and not taken over by private firms for yet more yuppie housing!!!

Have you noticed that in some places water is no longer a human right. Water can be cut off by the water company? There have been protests in Ireland about it.

Jaypot – Are you living in Scotland? Of so, it appears that some provisions in the Act will apply to us, but most will not.
By the way, if you are in Scotland, then when you say “my MP is not allowed by law to vote on certain things in Westminster” then that isn’t true…… YET!

The water utilities privatised by that loathsome Thatcher specimen were initially empowered to cut off both water AND SEWERAGE from non-payers. Then the Thatcherite morons in power suddenly realised that the resulting epidemics wouldn’t stop at the fences of the gated estates of the wealthy. The water barons also tried charge people without a connection to the public water system for the rain they collected on their properties, although that was quickly kicked into touch. Of course Ireland is nowhere as densely populated as England but still, the proposed action is still reprehensible and basically against basic human rights. What’s next? the air we breathe? Don’t forget that our Corporate State has no scruples. Profits are the bottom line – nothing else.

Why? Do you think she was incapable of anything except washing up? You have already proved that you are a racist, but it seems that you are a misogynist too. I suggest that you follow your friend Ms Fawkes to Johnny Void’s web site, where foul bigots like you will feel at home.
