The prime minister, David Cameron, has announced that Parliament is to be recalled on Friday to decide whether British forces should bomb pro-Assad government forces, or anti-Assad rebel forces in Syria.
The decision comes after assurances from the leader of the opposition, Ed Miliband, that his party will support tossing a coin to decide on the issue.
Britain is likely to send RAF Tornado aircraft into action, possibly as early as this weekend, once MPs have decided which side to bomb.
In a short statement, a Downing Street spokesman said:
“The Speaker has agreed to the prime minister’s request to recall parliament this Friday to debate which Syrians the UK should bomb. As soon as we can work that out, we can announce our resolute, firm and unwavering commitment to support whichever side it is we’ve decided to support.”
Mr Cameron’s announcement comes just days after a survey revealed as many as 87% of the British public would back air dropping the entire Cameron cabinet onto the front lines to fight brutal ISIS militia forces in northern Iraq.

So are we bombing the side that previously we wanted to bomb the other side to help the side we want to bomb ?
Or bombing the side supported and funded by the same countries now bombing them ?
Or bombing a side who are against what we said was an ‘evil country’ ?
Note countries can not be evil ….

ISIL is a mercenary rebel group funded by the USA, thru’ Saudi Arabia& Qatar, so I much doubt they would bomb their own protégés, would they? Maybe they tipped off ISIL a week ago about the bombing raids, or maybe they just bombed empty buildings, who knows? Have we seen any dead ISIL fighters’ bodies yet?

The British government albeit illegally rely on continuing UN ‘resolutions’ on Iraq to illegally be in Iraq, (which we already have groundbreaking High Court legal proceedings against the British government in the UK over) while there are no legal grounds etc for their latest proposed military mission in Syria.
The fact there may be British hostages in Syria does not, as one ‘news’ source claims provide the necessary legal grounds, for the claim there ‘will be authorization’ (which is not in any event the same as fully disclosing an actual written authorization’ for) British military to enter Syria.
It is clear that ‘hostages’ voluntarily chose to enter what they knew was a war zone in Syria, that they knew the British government and military did not have any legal authority to act in……..
In a written ministerial statement, Fallon said Reaper drones would be starting operations “very shortly” and would be used alongside Rivet Joint planes.
“As well as their operations over Iraq, both Reapers and Rivet Joint surveillance aircraft will be authorised to fly surveillance missions over Syria to gather intelligence as part of our efforts to protect our national security from the terrorist threat emanating from there,” he told MPs.
“Reapers are not authorised to use weapons in Syria; that would require further permission.”
Asked why parliament had not been consulted about the use of UK drones to conduct surveillance over Syria, Cameron’s deputy official spokesman said it was because it did not amount to military action…..”
