(not satire – it’s the UKIP!)
An MP from the Swedish Democrats – one of UKIP’s key allies in the European parliament – has told women who are abused by their husbands that they should “stop whining”:
‘Battered women should stop whining’
All I can say is, you can tell a man by the company he keeps.
But with the right-wing press in the UK fawning* all over Nigel Farage at the moment, don’t expect to hear much about this in the UK.
.
*Fawning over UKIP isn’t a problem we have to contend with at Pride’s Purge.
Please feel free to comment. And share. Thanks:

Perhaps somebody, preferably a woman, should subject this joker to the battering to whining quotient test? As for Farage, even the right of centre tabloids are giving this nasty little turd a wide berth. He’s a busted flush who will be humiliated at the next general election in my view. I hope 🙂

Maybe the Swedish Democrats should practice what they preach to the women who set up Julian Assange!!

Wow how low can you get you try now to link a swedish europhile with UKIP, maybe it’s time to stop trying to push the eurofederalists ideas which are causing major harm tot he majority and started listening to what UKIP really stands for. To be honest this persons stance is closer to Clegg than Farage but then don’t let facts get in the way of your anti ukip stance.
BTW UKIP is not right wing and neither is the british press.

How about also discussing the company Ed Miliband keeps? Let’s start with Tony Blair!

Well the way the democratically deficient eussr parliament works you have to sometimes work with people of opposite ideas to yours, does the WW2 triumvirate of Stalin Churchill and Roosevelt ring any bells with you, or do you think they were all right wing as well?

Of course you sometimes have to work with people you disagree with, but there is a VAST difference between someone with an appalling attitude to domestic violence, and someone who is directly responsible for the deaths of more than 100,000 people! The former is nasty but it’s probably right to try to work with her, the latter is a war crime and the he should be in prison.

The Sweden Democrats told The Local that Hagwall’s views did not represent those of the party as a whole.
“We believe there should be an even stronger support system in place for women who are being abused in order to encourage them to go through the legal process and achieve justice.”
The above says it all really. Even some women who have left violent relationships can still be tied to them through their children and are always in danger if the obsessive man will not let her go.

Hello again Ms Fawkes! I’ve got some questions for you! Do you still think all bisexuals should be sent to jail?

a socialist (left wing) political culture, whether that be a single country or a political/economic union with other counties, will always ensure that people within that culture, have access to decently paid work via some form of industrial production/productivity, or what ever…to provide human vital/vitality needs and/or a citizens income, which can be by way of increased social income benefits, (re unemployment underemployment and sickness and disability benefits, as highlighted by the recent ESC recommendations), with no sanctions or conditionality…relying on retail, maintenance, repair, house price, rent, share price inflation (profit taking) and financial services…with the virtual rationing access to/of all of those things, to drive up prices and to increase profits, centralizes wealth, is unsustainable, in every way possible, for ALL…for a balanced equitable society to exist all @ the very least, must have access to a decent education, health/social care, diet, housing, clothing, heating, income, through manual labour/social benefits….it must include distributive land polices, food production eco housing, eco energy and manufacture…we must drastically reduce the cost of living by using many measures and appropriate technologies as is possible (perma-culture), the power of the centralized state(s) will evapourate…any political system that fails to acknowledge ALL of the vital needs of ALL of the people is right wing…right and left wing politics is an arbitrary achievement measure of a leaning in one social/cultural/imperialist direction or another..for a distributive economy to thrive it must make the bulk of what it uses within it’s borders
…productivity/head is 35% lower in the uk than it was 35yrs ago and is the lowest in europe…this is the real/root problem with work distribution/mass unemployment in the uk, europe has nothing to do with it…see the inspiring work of the jimmy reid foundation, for all technical details…http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-22874889

Proof that misogyny and boorishness are shared by the Kippers’ counterparts in the rest of Europe. The only thing that makes this vaguely remarkable is that it comes from the Swedish Democrats, and so seems to be their attempt to counter their country’s reputation for liberalism and feminism.

Tom – … homophobic bigots like Ms Fawkes (and therefore countering their bigotry) is a boring subject, because they’re invariably not very bright and any argument has to be on a rather basic, emotive level. However, I will do my best to keep it short and relevant.
