The leader of a right-wing German anti-immigration party Adolf Hitler has strongly denied having fascist views, claiming racist comments attributed to him on Facebook and Twitter about Jews and other ethnic minorities were the result of hackers trying to smear his name.
The leader of the National Socialist German Workers Party also claims his comments posted online in which he suggested a ‘Final Solution‘ to eradicate the entire Jewish population of Europe by building a network of death camps in order to industrialize the mass slaughter of non-ethnic German minorities were taken out of context.
In a statement on his personal blog, party spokesman Dr. Joseph Goebbels said the party leader’s account had been “hijacked“ but he confirmed the controversy would not deter the party from continuing to make a stand against an open-door policy of immigration.

I read the other day that it’s impossible to gas yourself using a diesel engine and hosepipe. so how did the Nazis at Treblinka camp kill 3/4 of a million people, using 2 captured soviet diesel engines. Contrary to what I was taught at school.

P.S. I can both enjoy satire and also understand why it works, and the two are NOT the same thing. Some of your satire is very funny and some of it ain’t! This one falls over because it uses something which nobody remembers, wasn’t true then, and isn’t true now. Satire has to chime with something which is already in the reader’s mind. Arguably if you need to put in a link at all then it’s not going to work.

well this is my best shot atm….
it was so big that it went unnoticed, there was no tell tell volcanic eruption, that heralded change from one state to another, from the original recognition of what was happening in the 1930’s, in two different lands…the strong political opposition to fascism has faded….now too few speak out, against it, it is ingrained…how did/does fascism get a cultural foot hold…on the spring board of poverty mainly…boom and bust and a yearning to recover what is lost…instead of doing something different, there are the words of einstein…insanity, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results…..and neimoller “first they came for the socialists, but i did not speak out” ..

I say “WE”, but I hope and suspect that we in Scotland will take a different path from the one Tom is alluding to. I mentioned September 18th because the sad truth is that without Scotland the majority in the rUK ACTUALLY WANTS a right wing, reactionary government. Even worse, as UKIP and their like gain popularity there, they may end up holding the balance of power in the rUK Parliament. That’s a frightening thought.

you’ll know all that i am saying in this post…i remind myself of it…this site should have no need for existence, but it does, because of the reality of what is happening…billions live in misery…doing somethings over and over again is useful/constructive…eating, sleeping, breathing, being a pacifist, having a social conscience, moved to reply, intervene, grow, develop, mature, against incredible odds…knowing, conveying, explaining, reviewing, finding the words that move is/can be incredibly taxing…luckily fascism is fairly approach unified, a single motive profit from the suffering of others, but unluckily very stubborn to shift once it has rooted…. i’m sure that einstein (who was many times viciously slurred by others) meant stop destructive behaviors they do not work, don’t pretend things are true for convenience or because truth is inconvenient…in awe of all the peripherals that create what we call reality/consciousness being awake to see it all, be joyful in discovery, not weaponise it…to be forced against our will/natural instincts does cause/is/fuels suffering and leads to many forms of deprivations…we all know when this happens because we are alerted too it by our senses, so that we can react to the threats and defend ourselves against them, our survival depends on us living with nature and not against it…we just know, but how we know defies description..the blog post is written as a response and too respond to….

how do i know that diesel fumes, are highly noxious, and poisonous… that diesel fuels can be blended with all sorts of other products, including petrol…that restricting the air supply to the engines, altering injected fuel amounts, changing pump timings/calibrations, removing engine thermostats so that the engine runs cold especially in winter etc etc, so that the engine produces even more toxic smoke/gases/particulates….that diesel engines were in regular use by the german army at the time, perhaps the russian diesel engines were larger and smokier…that for respiration one needs oxygen, and the exclusion of it causes death? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diesel_exhaust

so according to your info the soviets did not build the crematoriums, which cannot have worked for intended purposes without chimneys, because of insufficient draft…also there are 3 auschwitz’s + subcamps..all of the chimneys were destroyed by/before 1945….they were operated by the SS up until the end of ww2, and taken over by the soviet NKVD….

OK – it’s an interesting question. First of all, by the state of the current polling, I don’t think Scotland will vote for independence.
But anyway, I think it’s too simplistic to say England is right-wing or reactionary. It’s more right-wing than the establishment parties on some things – ie immigration – but more left-wing than them on other things – ie privatisation.
Also, GE voting intention between major parties doesn’t tend to change over the long term on individual events or poilcies. It’s more of a slow burn – a kind of mood or overall perception towards a particular party. For example, Labour are seen as ‘bad’ on the economy and immigration and the Tories on the NHS and fairness. Whether those perceptions are actually true or not is irrelevant. It’s very hard for the parties to change those attitudes quickly. So what the parties try to do is to concentrate the minds of the electorate on something more advantageous to themselves. Labour will try to spin the news towards the NHS and fairness – and the Tories to the economy and immigration. The level of success of the two parties to do that will to a large extent decide the result of the next election – which is going to be very close by the looks of it.
So to sum up – I’m not sure it’s all about the country being right or left-wing or even individual policies at all.
I think it all comes down to which party can spin the news to their own advantage most successfully. Unfortunately.

Tom – I think you, like so many others, are blithely dismissing the strong possibility of the biggest shift in UK politics in many generations. The truth is that the Scottish independence referendum will be on a knife edge. I was born and raised in the English home counties, but I have lived in Scotland for quite a few years now.
If Scotland votes for independence then your opinions about spin become completely irrelevant. NO AMOUNT of spin will be able to elect a Labour government in the rUK for the foreseeable future, because the majority of those who vote in England ARE right wing reactionaries and will vote Tory or UKIP. Labour will have to move even further to the right than any Blairites could possibly have envisaged or, more likely, Labour will divide catastrophically between those seeking power irrespective of principle (Milliband etc.), and those who still wish for a liberal egalitarian democracy.

Do you recall in various WW2 history accounts. The 3 einsatzgruppen shot over a million people Jews , communist, etc ,on the Eastern front. The 3 gruppen sent via enigma machines info regarding how many where shot and at what site, the info was sent weekly to Berlin. Bletchley park intercepted the info and used it as evidence at the Nuremburg Trials. I e mailed Bletchley park’s archive dept, to obtain copies. I was e mailed back. We don’t have any einsatzgruppen intercepts. Such historical documents have no record? very strange. Perhaps you can explain this finkfurst
