(satire?)
As one of those who has so far not reacted to the widespread criticism of the reaction to the sad death of Peaches Geldof, I thought I’d better explain my decision not to react to the criticism of those who did react critically.
Critics who have reacted so critically to the reactions should realise that any reaction or lack of it to death and loss should not be reacted to critically – lest the critical reaction is criticised for any reaction which could be reacted to critically.
I hope this short statement clears up any misunderstandings there may have been about my lack of reaction to the criticism of the reaction to the tragic and desperately sad death of a young mother.
If not – let me make myself clearer.
We should all shut up and let her family and friends grieve.

Did Kate Hopkins also say that her parents live on a council estate because they gave their daughters silly names, or is Peaches and Fifi Cherry Bob Bon socially acceptable?
IMHO There should be criticism.
There was far too much attention for the tragic death of a 25 year old woman.
I’m not sure why this one deserved so much coverage when young people die anonymously all the time

It appears that she should be a celebrity even in death. Her death was sad but not special to anyone else but her family, assuming no third party was involved. To me, she was not special. A yappy girl with a daft name who sought media attention. flags need not be flown at half-mast.

Agree that her death was covered to a hyperbolic level.

Sorry, do not understand why people comment upon this person. They next going to comment upon the death of my next door neighbour?
What is despicable, as in all these cases, are the chancers that come out of the woodwork for their 3 minutes of fame, like children killed by dogs are suddenly, when cameras role, known to an entire estate, plus the parish priest and personaly known by the headmaster of their school, and intimately by everyone in the playground, and always positive words.

The rumour is that poor little Peaches & cream Geldof never came to terms with the death of her wild-child mother Paula Yates; or with the death of her mother’s wild-child drug-taking boyfriend Michael Hutchence, or with the paternal bolshie attitude of her wild-child father Bob Geldof, who has always resolutely refused point blank to get his long & scruffy hair trimmed…….
