(not satire – it’s the corrupt UK today!)
Labour peer Lord Warner – who has written a report released today proposing monthly charges for using the NHS – is personally funded by private companies which will directly benefit from this kind of privatisation of healthcare:
Why Lord Warner really supports NHS reform: he’ll make loads of money from it
Warner wrote the report on behalf of a thinktank called REFORM which claims to be non-party – but which was founded by Tory MP Nick Herbert and former Head of the Political Section of the Conservative Party Research Department Andrew Haldenby.
REFORM itself is funded by many companies which will directly benefit from further privatisation of the NHS:
A full list of REFORM’S corporate sponsors can be found here – again many of which would directly benefit from these reforms.
COINCIDENCE?

.Is the monthly fee is instead of direct out of wages? If not it’s Mrs Thatcher’s dreams coming true ‘a Victorian USA’ state .
I just read UKIP says people on benefit are ‘parasitic lowlife’ or words to that effect…wonder if they mean this lot or the unemployed?

Our NHS should be free for everyone; countries that charge you for healthcare usually end up spending more and are less efficient. If we could do it after the devastation of World War II, we can do it today.

Sigh.
We are fast approaching the stage of the ultimate inversion: the stage where the government is free to do anything it pleases, while the citizens may act only by permission; which is the stage of the darkest periods of human history, the stage of rule by brute force. (Ayn Rand)

Valuable work from Tom Pride. It is sad to note that it is a LABOUR peer who is embroiled in this. As a Labour member, my own view is that anyone found to be trying to use a Parliamentary position for personal gain should be ejected from the Party forthwith. They blacken all our names.

It must have been said before but this is tottally against the principles of the NHS. Also what about the obscene fee for reorganising the NHS 3 Billion pounds we don’t need any more managers, we need doctors and nurses.
If this fee scheme goes ahead what about our NI contributions? Will they be stopped or part of it?

This story was on the front page of the Express today. It is absolutely disgraceful that a Labour peer, Lord Warner, should put his name to a document that effectively privatises the NHS. It certainly runs against the principles of the founders, Clem Attlee and Nye Bevan, that it should be free and available to all. And from what I gather, there is absolutely no economic reason for the imposition of such charges. The NHS can continue to be funded through taxation and National Insurance. One of the reasons for the campaign against it, apart from the greed and cupidity of the companies seeking to profit from its privatisation, and their stooges like Warner, is that the City does not want higher NI or tax rates. Yes, the Right wants to deny us free health care, simply so elite bankers can make even more money.

ps barry ,I read it on one of the links off here posted by someone on Ukips mandate. I apologise if it is incorrect ,change it to Tory,Lib dem or labour if you want, they all think the same imo.
You have put I have designated people ? well ,I was suggesting politicians might designate politicians as parasite lowlife because most are.
I am voting Ukip ,as reasoned why elsewhere ,I have no intention of making people leave anything but it would be nice if Toms Pride was on the front of our national papers so as in this example lord Warner can be questioned and put in the right party box at least.

I agree with you , but I would go further in that, if members of the House of Lords or the UK Parliament should :-
(a) be ejected for life from serving in HM Government if discovered profiteering for personal gain & never allowed to stand again.
(b) remove all pension benefits that may have accrued whilst serving in office .
(c) Appoint a peoples ombudsman group to ensure a that a charter & constitution is written up by the Law Society , approved by the TUC and signed by the Monarch to enforce under the law “The Peoples Charter 2014”.
