New Firefox CEO donated to anti-gay marriage campaign
If you’re pro-equal marriage and a Firefox user you might want to think about changing your choice of web browser.
Mozilla’s new CEO is Brendan Eich – who has a history of donating to anti-gay marriage campaigns such as California’s notorious Proposition 8, a campaign to ban same-sex marriage.

I think Eich wrong, but he’s entitled to his view and to spend his own money as he wishes.
Tom – I think you’re wrong when you said “The Mozilla Foundation finances Firefox”, but if you have further information then please post it.
I use Chrome.

Tom – Sorry, you’re right, it does, but the foundation doesn’t finance the anti-gay marriage campaign. I think that was a personal donation from Eich.

My favorite browser is Opera, but I use Mozilla because of compatibility issues… I guess not anymore.

I believe in traditional marriage between a man and a woman.
I am happy to see civil partnerships for same sex couples and I do not feel that they are superior or inferior.
They are people like me.
Please stop pontificating about equality: we all come in different sizes, shades and sexes. I am not being offensive to anybody: one may be born with male attributes but feels he is female or viceversa. No issue there: we are still two sexes.
I have a husband and I am his wife.
He is male and I am female: we are different.
A male cannot give birth, a female can.
We all share human rights and dignity.
I use Firefox and will continue doing so.

Are you saying that same sex couples should not be allowed to call their partnership a marriage? If not, why not?
