An unusual new poll by polling company Survation – which includes only people who are in employment – shows Labour with a 17% lead over the Tories.
44% of people in full or part-time employment said Labour were the party for hard-working people as opposed to just 27% for the Conservatives.
And 73% of UK workers said they have seen their wages fall over the last two years:

I would far rather vote for Labour than any other party. The thought of ever voting for Tories or Lib/Dems gives me the creeps!
I think all parties need an overhaul but it’s better to do it with Labour in power than this unelected coalition. Why? Because for some extremely strange reason the people of this country are frightened of them, at least that’s the feeling I get as this lot have just walked all over us, brought the country down to a near enough third world country, and nothing has been done!
I hope to God that people do get off their arses and vote at the next election as the ones who didn’t vote put this lot in!

If the current Labour Party see it as more important to attain political points by arguing they will be ‘tougher than the tories’ on welfare then the Labour Party has no interest in supporting the disabled, the poor and the unemployed. the Labour Party is not the party of the poor so it is hardly likely to be the party of working people either.
