Soon after taking office, Sauckel established compulsory labour service in Germany. His program resulted in the forced slave labour of 5 million people, many of whom had to endure cruel working conditions.
At the Nuremberg war crime trials, historian Joseph Persico described Sauckel as “….a little man with a shining dome, sad brown eyes, and a silly moustache patterned after the Fuhrer’s.”
Sauckel was hanged in the early morning hours of October 16, 1946 for crimes against humanity.
As far as I know – to date – there are no plans yet in place to hang Mr Iain Duncan Smith.

I’ve already written a piece pointing out that workfare – compulsory voluntary work – was initiated by the Third Reich as the Reichsarbeitsdienst, a policy designed to show that the Reich had solved the problem of unemployment. Here Tom Pride shows the striking similarity between Ian Duncan Smith and Fritz Sauckel, the Nazi director of forced labour in the occupied countries. And just like Ian Duncan Smith, and now the Salvation Army, Sauckel denied that the Arbeiteinsatz, the Nazi term for forced labour, was a slavery. As this piece shows, it didn’t stop him from being hanged though.

On another blog, a person left the comment that contacts in the arms industry say the Tories are getting the police tooled up with guns.They apparently have already understood the depth of feeling about the deaths they are responsible for, and they have already worked out the solution.

Duncan-Smith: Soon after taking office, Duncan-Smith established plans to stop “under-employed” people “topping up” their wages with hand-outs when they are capable of working for longer. They must earn a minimum amount each week from their jobs and will face being stripped of their housing benefit and tax credits if they fall short. One Charity reported “seeing children in Lancashire with pot bellies, sunken cheeks and sallow complexions like youngsters found in famine-ravaged countries” He also put in place plans to narrow disability criteria so more sick and disabled would be eligible for work.

They both have the same ideas, they both have the sadistic nature of a narcissist and they both look extremely alike.
I can only hope that IDS gets the same treatment as Sauckel did – but I know he won’t. However, he should be in court for the same reasons, crimes against humanity, along with the rest of the coalition cabinet and Lord Fraud! A proper court, a proper jury and a proper prison sentence – as well as all monies belonging to him/them to be taken from them!

As for trying to make it harder for people to vote due to the way you are changing the registration process, try again, the word will reach everyone as your party is so despised that you will make it all the easier for us to get you out!

its getting scarier by the minute now. and when /if he does get his just desserts (right spelling anyone?) along with the rest of the posh bully boys who have caused so much grief, how much more grief,hurt, deaths, etc will have been caused by them. millions who will never get their lives back on track. who have lost everything they ever strive’d for,(strove?) lost children to starvation. they cant get lives back when they have died. the whole country is in despair right now except for those with money top jobs or born with silver spoons who know nothing of the real world n their struggles.and the only thing that’s keeping most people going is the election of 2015 and the hope that we can get the coalition out and Labour in and that Labour will stick to their promises and stop this evil boil that is harming our country and its people. The trouble is, the UK works well, because we don’t tolerate bull shit for too long.
Sure, some people will always vote Tory because that’s their personality.
I can deal with that. But Being hostile, nasty and hateful is not the British way.
You can import some PR spin, bun it will soon run out of steam Mr Cameron, it always does.
My local Labour Concillor is a former Police Chief.
He knows the mood of ordinary people. They want criminal locked up, working street lamps and for the police to tackle anti social behaviour.
He also realises you need to give young people jobs with opportunities, something positive to do and engage them with the community and employers.
Not hang them out to dry.
Community lead projects, by real people, with relevent and appropriate support for the needs of our communities.
At work and at leisure. That’s what people want from Politicians.
On a National level, we want to look after the needy, welcome the working, and support people to live meaningful, fulfilling lives and make a contribution.
Those who can no longer work or are in search of work, need practical and spiritual support, not a kick in the eye.
Above all, people want to build our communities together and feel proud of ourselves.
On an international level, we don’t want to alienate people and recruit terrorists by engaging in futile wars based upon lies.
There has to be an environment that looks to provide social justice.
Tax cuts for millionaires and tax avoidance by corporations are not about making our country “competative” any more than starving people on low wages, the disabled or unemployed is going to prompt employers to find them a job.
The Police have a role to play, but it’s still Policing by consent.
There are not enough Police in this Country to prevent a few pockets of rioting in 2011.
It was the community who got together to sort that mess out, whilst politicians talked tough and did NOTHING.
I remember where Cameron was in the Summer of 2011….
Something we should all remind ourselves of, the next time the Police shoot someone like Mark Duggan, Jean Charles De Menezez or point guns at petiitioners who bring the plight of the poor to the Minister for Work & Pensions….

i agree guy, never liked nor trusted Blair, and with reason if what ive read about him is right.though didnt know those things at the time. Brown was ok but a bit of a wimp in a way.
labour now though is not new labour. To me, and i may be wrong ill admit as i’m no politician,they are trying to change their image back to how labour used to be. a more caring party for those who are vulnerable etc. i myself was always better off under labour. although i do know that what any politician says doesn’t necessarily mean that they mean it and once in power can change from a cuddly teddy bear to a big fat grizzly bear and just as mean/evil as this lot we have now. we can only hope that in trusting them to do as they say they will do, if we elect them in in 2015 that they dont sell us down the river as Clegg did.

a lot worse yet i think though some are being challenged in the court of human rights already. kat riley and a man ,forgot his name, won their case re workfare and was told they should get their money back that was stopped as a sanction. only for camerons lot to have emergency meeting to pass a retrospective law which meant they didnt have to pay kat and all the rest who had been sanctioned for similar reasons.the UN have told cameron the bedroom tax is illegal. but it still goes on.(law ubnto themselves this lot are…they think but give a man enough rope……..and the UN are still looking into that plus the austerity measures and their affects on the people of Great Britain. .slowly things are happening and i believe and hope that like a train going downhill it will gather momentum till finally it will sound the death knell for this coalition party. what happens to the leaders after that we can only hope for,, i wont say pray cos what i have in my mind God would never do and i wouldnt ask him.

Whilst the public purse tries to pick up all the pieces and the next govt struggles to hold a massively fragmented and tortured society together…this lot know exactly what they’re doing, who they’re doing it for (themselves, the rich elite of this country), and at what expense (the rest of us) and don’t give a flying f*ck about anything except themselves getting richer and more powerful. History does go in cycles though, and there is such a thing as comeuppance….

You make a good comparison, they are like two Demons in a pod. His evil Sanctions have been in place since 1985 and both the Tories and New Labour imposed these Sanctions on the Working class. I myself experienced them after falling into unemployment in 2005 after working full-time for over 20 years. I was given a healthy doze for 6 months in November 2005 and I was ready to be given another healthy doze in 2009, until I was put onto sick benefit. What he and his untermensche criminal confederates deserve is the Firecracker up the Arse of the year award, then to be rounded up, put in a field and then for the Bastards to be bombed 🙂
