(satire?)
The Prime Minister David Cameron has announced he is to launch an inquiry into the growing scandal of addiction and use of pure ‘methodism’ by senior bankers.
The announcement comes as former bank boss Paul Flowers was told he is to face a police probe after he was accused of being addicted to pure ‘methodism’ as well as habitual use of dangerous crackpot banking schemes during his time as chairman of the Co-op bank.
Friends and colleagues of the drug addict were stunned last night as the former bank boss they regarded as a pillar of the drug-taking community was exposed as a secret methodist minister.
Shocking video footage showed Mr Flowers ‘ministering’ pure methodism in a Leeds United Methodist Church.
Narcotic experts say that pure ‘methodism’ in combination with dangerous ‘crackpot banking’ is a powerful and extremely addictive man-made stimulant and its use can lead to severe physiological and psychological dependence.

A CCHG spokesperson has said that David Cameron wants to bring some method in the madness. Cameron, naturally, as a tory, has no idea of the ‘other worldly’ effects of methodism

Combining pure ‘methodism’ with ‘crackpot banking’ is, indeed, extremely powerful and addictive. But though the quantitative easing medicine makes you feel slightly better at first, its over-use is even more addictive among a very small group of already fabulously rich people, raising the risks of a widespread and prolonged eruption of anger and a profound questioning as to why we voted the way we did in 2010.

Is the Rev Green of HSBC a methodist too? Funny how these men of god… I thought Jesus was supposed to have thrown the money lenders out of the temple. Clearly David Cameron doesn’t worry about taking the bank that laundered Mexican drug money into Downing Street – Rev Green of HSBC.
