(not satire!)

The Lib Dems should break out the champagne.

Nick Clegg has finally come first in a poll over other party leaders.

According to a survey by AshleyMadison.com – the dating site for unfaithful married people – 39.1% of women said Nick Clegg would be their first party leader of choice for an extra marital affair.

David Cameron came last behind Clegg, Nigel Farage and Ed Miliband – with just 13.5% of the website’s women users saying they would like to cheat with the Prime Minister.

Bizarrely, Nigel Farage came second in the survey – which I really hope is a good illustration of how unrepresentative women users of Ashley Madison are of women as a whole.

They must be because, when asked how they would vote in a general election, most of the women questioned said UKIP.

So does that mean UKIP supporters are more likely to be unfaithful?

Well, considering most UKIP voters seem to be defectors from the Conservative Party – disillusioned with the status quo and intent on screwing the Tories behind their back – no surprises there then I suppose.

And obviously the women are dead right about Nick Clegg.

Because after his decision to join the coalition – we all now know he’s prepared to jump into bed with anyone if he thinks the offer’s right.
