In 2010 the coalition government rushed through its flawed Academies Bill in record time which established Free Schools and Academies.
Now in 2013 Nick Clegg is telling everyone how much he’s against these ‘ideological’ reforms, which include for example loony ideas like the right for schools to employ completely unqualified teachers.
What Nick Clegg is doing is what I’m told is known in technical political parlance as being a ‘two-faced f*ckwit’.
Come on Clegg, for once in your life man-up and admit you and your party helped f*ck up our education system by agreeing to these ridiculous ideological reforms.
This is a huge error on your part which is already resulting in children getting third-rate schooling.
Resign now.

Would anyone really notice if he resigned? I suspect he he has so little self awareness that he wouldn’t even realise he had stepped down!
I suppose there might be less whining about votes he made and bills he supported. Yet the Tories will continue to screw as many people as possible and introduce poorly drafted crackpot legislation. How that comes as a surprise to Clegg when the Tories have been doing that for hundreds of years (well Disraeli aside).

The same is true for the sell-off of the NHS (part courtesy of Damn Shirley Williams) and every other reactionary corrupt act of the coalition. Clegg is hostage to his party’s closet Tories like Laws and Alexander who are simply in the wrong party but happily careering along.

Unfortunately the same is true of every department. There is no requirement for any minister to have prior knowlege of his subject area, and the average minister spends two years in post, unfortunately there are three problems with this:
1) Any job of any complexity at all takes more than two years to master.
2) Knowing they’ve only got two years to make an impact every minister rushes in all guns blazing trying to create as many initiatives as possible before they are removed.
3) They know that even if they muck up they will be out of post before they have to take responsibility.
Is this any way to run a country?
