(not satire – it’s Paul Maynard MP!)
Back in July I wrote a blogpost about Tory MP Paul Maynard – famous for calling disability activists extremists – who had claimed over £10k off the taxpayer in expenses for things like biscuits, soap and coasters.
Well he’s in the news again – this time for criticising food banks.
I have to admit I’m struggling to find a witty, relevant and insightful response to Mr Maynard’s latest astoundingly hypocritical proclamation.
So will “Maynard – you utter cock” do instead?
.
Please go ahead and comment. You know you want to.
well,if that dont take the biscuit,,

It most certainly should Not become ‘part of the welfare state’! Food banks are a disgrace to a civilised society, let alone one of the most (supposedly) affluent on the planet. Food banks are the last resource of people who can no longer pay council tax, rent arrears, energy bills, petrol – if fortunate enough to own a car- school children’s expenses, pet food – ad infinitum.
And they can only get food for three days, when issued with vouchers from a recognised authority – such as CAB. A habit?? Wouldn’t YOU turn to a pay-day lender?
These MPs with their piddling little expenses accounts for this bag of crisps, and that tube of toothpaste – what do they know of budgeting? Thank goodness we are, as a people, generous enough to give food to the food banks.
