(not satire – unfortunately)
The bizarre phrase that’s being used now to explain how Jimmy Savile got away with abusing hundreds of children for decades is that he was supposedly ‘hiding in plain sight’.
This strange notion somehow suggests Savile’s crimes were hidden from everyone – even though he was committing them openly.
It also suggests that despite the many, many complaints against him, the reason the police or the prosecutors or the BBC or the hospital trusts or the security services such as MI5 – who would have vetted him before he had any close contact with Prime Ministers and leading members of the royal family – did nothing to stop him was because his crimes were somehow ‘hidden’ from them.
In plain sight.
Is it only me thinks that’s a load of bollocks?
I’ve already written about MI5 admitting they vetted BBC staff in the past – including presenters such as Savile:
MI5 vetted Savile. And decided paedophilia was nothing to worry about?
So let’s stop using these clever weasel words to try to pass the buck over the failure of the establishment to protect our children from high-level paedophiles such as Savile and call it by its real name:
An institutional cover-up.

Hi Bob – 3UK told me they’d decided to unblock the site a couple of days ago – goo to hear they weren’t lying. I think they felt a bit bullied into it after all the messages they got complaining after the article.

I think this can only point to one thing – a cover up. And not to mention all the people who worked with him who knew but kept quiet.
What I have found is that offenders engaged in all kinds of deviant and criminal behaviour often seem to speak out against the behaviour they themselves are engaged in or give lots of money to charity. That gives them a distraction to commit their crimes openly yet often unnoticed and they use their good deeds to redeem themselves in their own eyes as well as others.
One example I remember was an individual who was well known for speaking out and campaigning against various forms of market abuse. Turns out he was also participating in market abuse and despite being exposed, to this day he still carries on as if his offences were nothing. It is a kind of denial and I suspect many serial sex offenders do not believe or will admit even to themselves what they are.
Always be suspicious of those who appear whiter than white.

Every single person who is/was complicit in this cover up has aided and abetted an offender and so should be seen to have their day in court, I demand no less. How dare they think this is the end of the matter

The European Union’s elite are determined to destroy Europe’s Christian heritage, Italy’s reform minister, Umberto Bossi said yesterday.
He described the elite as “filthy pigs” who wanted to “make paedophilia as easy as possible”.
Mr Bossi, leader of the Northern League, said Brussels was “transforming vices into virtues” and “advancing the cause of atheism every day”. He denounced the European arrest warrant as a step towards “dictatorship, deportation, and terror, instilling fear in the people, a crime in itself”. It would lead to a Stalinist regime “multiplied by 25”.

Dear Tom I want to ask a question that seems quite mad and yet if you put govt policies together so far do make you wonder . The question is this . Does the govt want to kill off certain amount of the public ?
Consider this :
if you are out of work and claiming benefit you are not ill and a scrounger so. have benefits removed so since lack of jobs you starve and die
cuts in housing benefit means no rent paid you are evicted and homeless and can’t get job cos you have no address you suffer exposure and die
if in work you undergo occupational health and found unfit for work and are sacked .no job no rent no home you die
fire stations close you burn to death
health and safety rules at work are cut you have injury and die

Quite right. Cover up is all it is,so let’s have no more spin and manipulation of words to let off all those who knew what was going on and colluded through their silence in Savile and his disgusting cronies getting away with so much for so long.
