(no it’s not satire – it’s UKIP!)
UKIP are desperately trying to win the PR battle over their sacked youth leader Olly Neville by smearing the 21-year-old student with claims he supports bestiality and necrophilia.
Mr Neville was unceremoniously dumped by UKIP as their youth section spokesman a couple of days ago after he expressed support for gay marriage – a position which is clearly against the so-called libertarian party’s remarkably un-libertarian official position of thinking politicians should have the right to decide who people can and cannot get married to.
Sensing a PR disaster in the making, UKIP decided to muster the support of one of their most skilled PR masterminds – erm …. that would be Guido Fawkes – who dutifully accused Mr Neville of being a keen supporter of UK citizen’s right to have sex with animals and dead people.
Mind you, Mr Neville didn’t reply when I asked him in a tweet about the accusations – so he’s not exactly denying them.
Don’t know about you – but I can’t see smearing a young man with disgusting things like that winning UKIP many votes.
Can you?

so tom, are you saying removing the guy was wrong or that not blackening his name was wrong of nigel and ukip?
are you joking about guido, since when did he like ukip?
what was the official reason for his leaving?
ukip do remove bad eggs though, unlike the three other parties.
i have never heard ferage or others attack gays for being gays, so what’s the beef here tom?
ukip are libertarian, i suggest you go down to the www and read just what they stand for, a living wage was on the manifesto some years ago, shock horror.
with luck they will get into power, labour and the con-jobs are flipping around like fish out of water, that 11-16% will climb a lot higher, no one believes camerooon or millipeed, why should they?
lets be clear about this, they do not work for us, they work for the bankers, the corporations, or anyone who can fill a bag with 250,000 and leave it in daves flat after a cosy supper.
labour were the same, buy a title, sir i bribed a lot.
murdoch killed the real labour party tom, hence his love affair with new labour.
when common purpose are removed from their fox hole in number 10, society might go back to real values and caring again, have you not read about cp in the mail telegraph or on uk columns www pages?
perhaps you should ask guido just why he said that, or try asking the young man again about his so called likes, if its untrue he will sue guido,.
with luck, all the honest hard working mps will join ukip, they must be deeply concerned when they see dave and gideon, or the labour leaders vying for failure to grab the bonus payments from the crown corporation for screwing the taxpayer.
you might not have noticed tom, but ukip are our last hope.

Oh dear – looks like UKIP is run in the same grubby way as all the other parties. And it seems to remind me of the in-fighting and bitching in the BNP a few years ago.
If the allegations are false perhaps the young man could sue UKIP and these various right wing bloggers for defamation. If they are true, then I am sure he can sue them for harassment instead.
Perhaps as part of the pre-action protocol, Olly could instruct RMPI Personal Injury Solicitors and ask them to make extra room on their website for a ‘reconcilation’ facilty to demand apologies and reparations – payable to a charity of his choice of course.
Any suggestions on the charity?

Olly Neville was removed for saying he was for gay marriage. Tell me what on earth is libertarian about thinking politicians should be able to decide who can and can’t get married? Don’t get me wrong – I’m not for one minute defending Labour when it comes to civil liberties but nothing annoys me more than good old-fashioned right-wing authoritarians pretending they’re libertarian.
Rant over.

Olly Neville is against libel laws so he’s unlikely to sue anyone. In fact he’s said he would scrap libel laws completely and allow anyone to say whatever they like about whoever they like – which is at least a consistent libertarian position to take.
I wouldn’t go as far as he in scrapping defamation laws completely but UK libel laws are definitely an ass.

What makes you say UKIP is libertarian? My dad stood for them and apart from getting out of EU – which seems essential in light of all the tax payers money this country could save and invest in its own – I thought their policies pretty hopeless and their take on Justice MONSTEROUS and far worse than Tories.
If they kick out an able youth leader because he supports gay marriage they can hardly bé libertarian now can they?

hi tom, i have not seen the article or guido fawkes bite back, i enjoy your blog, hence my responses to it on and off.
I have never seen an anti gay sentiment in any of ukips speeches, or even a whiff of it in the manifesto, which is why i asked you as to who was saying what to whom.
no doubt the truth will come out one way or another, it would be sad if it was because of his comments about homosexuals marrying each other.
like it or not your liberal press and human rights lot have taken the old christian family values and trashed them, an mp was lambasted for saying i would not like a homosexual son or daughter, maybe he should have said i hope my kids go to private boarding school and get abused, i would love gay kids………………
the bbc want more gay tv presenters for childrens programes…………….
i am sure my father would have died happy in ww1 knowing the world fit for heros would be so ………………………. liberal.
libertarian, freedom to do what you want so long as under common law no hurt or physical damage is done, sadly we do not live under common law Tom, we live as you are aware under admiralty law, which is rather different.
you could if you are feeling devilish ask if gay weddings should be done in christian premises, as they are actually against the christian book of laws, the bible, maybe if they remove the bible and the term christian from these places of worship, we can tax them as cults.
we have lords spiritual and temple sitting in the house of lords, also being paid their salary by the churches, the church and state are tied at the hip, which of course defeats the purpose…………….
ref labour and murdoch, have you seen this interview?
I am not the only one who is disaffected by the main two and a wimper parties, lying stealing double dealing banker puppets, when the head of m15 or was it 6 went to work for an oil company after the iraq war……………….. enough is enough.
the bbc and other trolls cannot mention ukip without throwing in bnp, ukip does not want to throw out immigrants, they do want any fiscal migrants to chip into the system for five years, or go home.
is it wrong to have and enjoy border control, the eu does not attack the french for its stance, i sometimes wonder if all we are told about the eu is true, not just an excuse to bankrupt us further after the bankers have robbed us blind while enjoying lots of cheap money and bailouts, let alone bonus payments of billions.
the bbc have taken money from the eu, its on public record, the main parties are dancing around like headless chickens, they know we want out, but the bankers and corporations will not let them do it, no one with half a braincell thinks its up to dave cameron to decide, he is just an empty suit.
the last 10 plus year 2 million have come in under the eu open doors policy, fine if they are working, but not if they just take from the system, which as we know is being cut to the bone, if we want meritocracy, then we must start being realistic about so many different things.
thank you for pointing this out, i will wait until the full facts come out, meanwhile i shall go down to heathfield by newton abbot and grill the ukip office about their stance on this.

Steve – there’s no dispute that Olly was deposed because of his comments on gay marriage. UKIP admit that. Their official line is that the party is against gay marriage and Olly’s open support of it must have been too much for them – even though he says he made it clear he was talking in a personal capacity.

ok, thanks tom, so we know where ukip stand, maybe the youth leader should join the liberal or common purpose lot, if the stance is already chosen, he should have kept to his principles and voted with his feet.[walked away]
non event then, so to speak,
why is it if people take a moral stance they are not willing to resign in protest over it? i remember robin cook was the only mp who had any balls when push came to shove over the iraq war.
we do need libel laws, but we also need courts that are fast honest and cheap, so if anyone tells porkies they get fined.
the trouble is we do not have a free press, we have a press owned by large corporations who work hand in hand with the govt most of the time.
thankfully we have the alternative news services on the www, blogs and such.
cheers tom.

And Nigel Farage was what, exactly?

Yes, that’s right – he was a banker.
Now, he just reminds one that “banker” is also rhyming slang/

He’s now free to join the Lib-Dem’s, Tories, or Labour party and continue to publicly opine that sex with dead bodies is perfectly natural. I’m sure they would all be equally tolerant and understanding of his position.
Actually, given what’s hinted at in Westminster I don’t think that’s even sarcasm. Openly telling the public wouldn’t go down too well though, it’s just not done old chap.

I wonder why, in the face of more and more families in the UK having to go to food banks to survive that we have this total bollocks about pro and anti-gay marriage. Is politics really about vote catching above all and no real action to improve and restore the economy? Are most bankers gay and that is why there is all this emphasis on what goes on behind the bedroom door?
Gays account for a very small percentage of people but judging from the media coverage and google hits we are barely holding our heads up in a sea of gay-this and gay-that.
Gays were previously courted for the pink pound, the dinks, where does that place the thousands of people barely surviving on welfare handouts and living in high rises. Gays are not representative of the whole society but their agenda dominates politics, religion and the justice system. Something not quite right with that picture.
Are gays the new jews? I have nothing against either of them in principle, we are all a minority of one if you get down to real basics, but when one minority is made to dominate our society something is seriously skewed. This agenda has a purpose and it is not in our best interests.
Please feel free to flame, but someone has to say it.

lols, yes he was a banker, probably still has ties here n there to, but so far he has not been to a bilderberg meting, unlike dave n his crowd or blair, or thatcher…….
if there is one peep or sight of him doing so we will find out about it.
like it or not ukip are the last chance saloon, what nigel would do when he gets given the big red book from the crown corporation is anybodys guess, time will tell, if you are unaware of the big red book, eyes only, pick up a copy of blairs book from a charity shop…………………..
i do not expect anyone to be a saint, everyone makes mistakes, but i do expect public servants to work for the public that pay them, which is blatantly not the case at the moment.
if you are happy with this system vote tory or labour, lets face it they are just two sides of the same coin, the lib-dems are finished although they will scurry along for a few more years down the rat holes of whitehall.

Guido Fawkes quotes him as saying:
“Yes I am pro bestiality and necrophilia being legalised as you ask. Why should the state tell me I cant?… the animal was never human, the corpse is no longer human… if people want to do it and want it to be done to them whats wrong with it? …when your dead are you alive? no. so are you a living human being? no your a shell, your not a person anymore … hey dont have to, they arent a person anymore, theyre property, its like having sex with your pillow.”
Fawkes could well be lying, but if he isn’t then Olly Neville is an idiot, as you would expect of someone who sees UKIP as his electoral salvation. Presumably these views were considered acceptable by UKIP until Neville spoke out in favour of equal marriage.

I’m not too sure about this. Neville had been being a pain in the ar5e for ages – he undoubtedly prided himself on being ‘at the forefront of radical sexual politics’ and I know for a fact he condoned incest.
Whatever you think about Ukip’s ideas on gay marriage (and let’s face it, quite a lot of people still don’t like it so it’s fair enough to have a party that opposes it) I think if they’re going to avoid the fruitloop accusations sticking to them, they need to get rid of people like Neville.

Even gays can be castigated for criticizing recent gay agenda’s such as children born of 2 gay fathers, watch bbc2’s frank discussion hardtalk with gay actor Rupert Everett 15.1.2013. We should not be trying to suppress neither gay nor straight peoples opinions, but neither should we pamper to either ones every whim. Peter Tachell once quoted I’m not sure who? “I may not like what you are saying, but I would not want to deny you the right to say it”, or words to that effect.
Like wise people should be allowed to freely discuss immigration issues also, even some immigrant communities are concerned about mass immigration.

Let’s get this very clear. Oliver Neville was only interim chairman of Young Independence and the reason he was demoted from that post was not for saying he was in favour of same-sex “marriage”. He was sacked for publicly saying that he agreed with the BNP about something or other, and for being a general idiot. He was off-message on a number of issues. He then betrayed his own party by copying private messages between UKIP members on a website and sending them to the Sunday Mirror to be be distorted into a malicious attack. So he was dumped from the party.
After that he went snivelling to the Huffington post claiming that he had been chucked out for his (adolescent) views on gay marriage!!!!
Point 2. Oliver did have the bad taste to write a defence of necophilia here:-
http://thebackbencher.co.uk/what-is-wrong-with-necrophilia/
So he is not a victim. He is a nasty piece of work and UKIP is well rid of him.
Point 3. There is nothing libertarian about redefining marriage. It is a tyrannical act imposed by a government with no mandate from the people as this was not mentioned in any election manifesto.
