(not satire – it’s the Lib Dems!)
In the latest opinion poll on voting intention for TNS BMRB – UKIP are now on 16% and the Liberal Democrats are on 8%.
The full top-line figures are:
LABOUR – 41%
CONSERVATIVES – 26%
UKIP – 16%
LIBERAL DEMOCRATS – 8%
OTHERS – 9%
The details are here:
Just how low do the Liberal Democrats have to go before their (remaining) members pull their heads out of the sand and realise supporting the most extreme right-wing government the country has seen for decades is not only destroying the social fabric of our nation, but their own party too?

I haven’t voted for more than 20 years but I find it fascinating that people still think voting makes a difference.
Whoever you vote for has to work within the same corrupt system, kow-towing to the central bankers. Politics is a very dirty game.
UKIP is giving out some pleasing noises and Nigel Barrage is very entertaining but if they get into power nothing will change. A new government can tear up previous governments’ changes to the system, but when was the last time something like that happened? We could leave the EU now and just burn the treaties but it ain’t going to happen even if UKIP get in, they’ll find excuses not to. It’s a must-be.
Sorry to be a “party” pooper 😦

Apologies to all here about bad language. This is a copy and paste quote from the void.
It refers to ppl place on the ‘work program’ ie where they are forced to work for free for a company..
Seems now that if that free labour ’employee’ doesnt grin like an idiot at customers they ridk losing benefits. What the?
Why the fuck can the RMT union announce strikes because a worker has been sacked for allegedly “harassing a passenger”? If a work programme victim doesn’t smile at a customer they are given a 3 year sanction for “not engaging”! What the fuck is going on here? Why the fuck do victims of the jobcentre and have no rights whatsoever. The RMT union needs to call a fucking strike every time a jobcentre/provider victim is fucking abused. WP victims should join the RMT!””

Well it throws up some odd things because how can you be expected to comply with company policy when you dont actually work for the company but are there because of DWP insistance.
Also I wonder if you are forced to work for company using workfare and being dumped into a McCrappola fast food outlet where you are forced to wear a stupid costume/ uniform is part of the humiliation/ punishment.
I guess the same goes for regular employees.
What is it with this corporate branding?
If god forbid i went into starbigbucks i know i am there because the sign above the door.
Do i need to be reminded where i am all the time by seeing their logo on everything in the place? Cups , table , floor , ceiling, staff?
Or perhaps its brand re enforcing or something..
Or they worry customers all suffer from amnesia or short term memory loss and suddenly forget which shop or store we are in?

The simplest approach would be to dress employees like the product (if it’s a physical one). So MacDonalds workers would be quarter-pounders, with their heads sticking out of the top of the bun and their feet from the bottom. Downside to that is they wouldn’t be able to belly up to the counter and serve customers. Unless they were the filling and the bun was on sideways.
Companies with non-physical products are more difficult. Have to think about that.

I’ve been looking at Crisis at Christmas website and to see the amount of donations rolling in is quite remarkable and kind of heart warming.
But what does alarm me is seeing website basically bashing this charity and cause as well as the comments posted which i have to say are a bit worrying really.
Such as ” Don’t give homeless people a penny – buy then a sandwich & coffee.
These types of charities do nothing except provide work for lazy, left-leaning layabouts.
Service to society? Nope, just propagating weak thinking and suffocating statism”
Well thats nice, eh?
Some other comments suggest we should punch some of the collectors if not the recipients themselves.
So heres the question. What the fuque is going on?
Either this well meaning charity which I am sure or hope it is , has messed up a bit which is not good, or someone is trying to discredit them…
I will post the link which was from last years campaign.
