Oh dear. Anyone know a good lawyer?
I’ll explain.
One of the Daily Telegraph’s main columnists – Damian Thompson – has taken recently to countering Dr Eoin Clarke’s arguments against the privatisation of the NHS and other things – by making fun of the fact that he’s from Ireland.

Now whether you agree with Eoin’s opinions or arguments or not, nobody can deny that he is always a gentleman when it comes to on-line communications even with people who disagree with him.
Which as you can see from what he has written in the Telegraph about Eoin – is more than can be said for Thompson.
But Thompson has just put his foot in it even deeper.
In reply to a separate enquiry to one of his followers on Twitter, Thompson (@holysmoke) said that the Telegraph has ‘zero tolerance for racist comments‘ and removes them ‘as soon as they’re identified‘.
Amazed by the hypocrisy of the Telegraph apparently having zero tolerance for racist comments from its readers while allowing its own writers to express open racism in their columns, I asked Thompson on Twitter why the Telegraph’s policy of zero tolerance towards racism didn’t extend to his own racism towards the Irish.
His reply?
Racism – in the context of the Irish – was just ‘self-pitying bollocks’.

According to the Malicious Communications Act, Twitter users can be prosecuted if their messages are found to be grossly offensive.
That’s according to Lord McAlpine’s lawyers by the way – who I believe are real experts on what may constitute an offensive tweet.
Well I don’t know about you, but a journalist being racist in a national newspaper and then dismissing racism on Twitter as ‘self-pitying bollocks’ grossly offends me.
Do you think if I asked them nicely, the Met’ would take a little time off from trawling through thousands of tweets on behalf of Lord McAlpine to investigate my complaint?
No – neither do I.

The establishment is out in force at the moment doing everything it can to frighten us the public, in particular the working class public into silence. Attacking Eoin is typical he stands for everything they despise. We must all know that the mass suing spree that is going on at the moment is a giant smoke screen heaven knows what’s lurking behind it they can’t shut everyone up.

Is Thompson forgetting this history, it was OK then in the 1960s for landlords to openly advertise no blacks, no Irish, that in his mind may not have constituted racism. I can assure the writer it does. What he is failing to address that the Irish were openly the butt of every joke in the seventies, and throughout the period of the mainland bombings by the IRA were threatened and fearful. How do I know this is because my family and I were on the receiving end, but maybe that is thought of as self pitying? I would suggest to Thompson he needs to grow up abit acknowledge his failures and for gods sake not be self pitying.

Resorting to offensive comments about any community indicates a dearth of intellectual argument. Obviously Eoin’s comments are touching a raw nerve of some at the Torygraph to which I can only say ‘keep up the good work’

I have always been a great fan of the torygraph, it is not afraid to call a spade a spade and of course most of its greatest fans supporters like me are supporters of the far right Ingerlund!

The BBC is a hotbed of communist subversives ..did you know that? Me neither .. That would be the same BBC that claimed that UK uncut were smashing up Fortnum and Masons I guess. There is a rabid drooling at the mouth right loonies that aunty beeb is controlled by moscow. In this article by james spot the loony delingpole claims that the the fact that sometimes BC AD isnt used this means by jimmy that theres a secret cabal of subversive red agents running the beeb. Check out the comments one proves his point by going to that independant bastion of truth conservative home. Another says that champagne fuelled parties were held upon Blair victory oooh proof that commies are there…over looking the fact that the countty dumped the tories because they were up to there armpits in sleaze and god knows what else. Then there is the smoking gun. The infanous book by oborne which has been pulled apart. Following on from this is hefferlump claiming that there was a plot to bring down lord muckypants because of their blind hatred of thatcher. Well you could include half the country in that and itv spitting image which was openly opposed to her and her govt. Did it bring her down? Nope her own party did, funny that. Any way read on and have fun..

The British establishment have been openly anti-Irish since at least the 1840s, it was a feature of Victorian times. The so-called potato famine was actually British Army controlled genocide of the Irish – food supplies were requisitioned and sent to the mainland.
A bit like the zionists treatment of the palestinians. Racism is borne out of demonising and treating other nations/races as being inferior. Commentators of the ilk of Damian (surely well-named) Thompson are either revealing eugenicist leanings or a severe ignorance of history.
As to the offence created, I would want more freedom of expression without fear of being Mcalpinised, otherwise how else will we be able to spot our enemies?

Ok gang..a freind sent me a mail about patrick moore the sky at night fella.. Aww hes very old cuddly bod we all love aint he,, he just happens to mebtion in passing that aunty beeb is all run by leftists..and this item she sent me was in the express that bastion of fairness totally impartial in reporting how trliions of benefit scroungers are taking over the planet. And her having attended disability rights protests.. There is naive and well.. Unaware …so frustrating. By the way was moore anything to do with spooks . Theres also an odd bit in there to do with why he necer married. He mentions it was to do with his old gf dying years ago. Wonder why it was mentioned in the article..hmm

The Telegraph is a scumbag publication for example Dan Hodges is allowed to paint Patrick Mercer MP as being a possible antisemite and one is not allowed to raise the issue that maybe Patrick Mercer is quite the opposite of an antisemite and that he could have got in to his recent problems because the Cameron Clegg Junta is working to mass murder the bulk of the non-Muslim population of the UK, ( including the bulk of Britain’s Jewish population ), in order to free up lebensraum for additional large scale Muslim immigration in to the UK and Mercer has been trying to get Cameron and his thrash pals kicked out of the Tory party.
