(not satire – surreal yes – but all true)
There is a war going on.
It’s a war played out in the media, on our televisions and on the internet – a war between information and disinformation, between truth and lies, between powerful establishment ‘fixers’ and ordinary citizens – but the casualties are real.
People have been hurt, people have even died, but some – bruised, tortured, battered to an unbelievable degree – have amazingly managed to survive.
Child abuse victim, Steven Messham is one of those who is still standing.
Just.
Because, as part of this war, last week, the Mail on Sunday did a hatchet job on Steven in an attempt to discredit him as a witness.
The article was almost entirely made up of spin, half-truths and downright lies. It was also written by a well-known establishment ‘fixer’ – David Rose – who was so confident that his attempt to discredit Steven would succeed he didn’t even bother to write under a pseudonym – despite the fact he must have known some of us would recognise his name.
See this previous article for more information about Rose:
Child abuse scandal can of worms – just who is Daily Mail reporter David Rose?
The Mail is powerful. The members of the establishment who are paying people like David Rose to ‘fix’ things for them are also powerful.
In fact, for centuries these people have been so powerful they have always managed to cover-up their own wrongdoings, because the means of information and disinformation has always been in their hands – the television, the newspapers, the politicians, the courts. So they always won.
Until now.
The power of the internet has changed everything and for once there is a real opportunity that truth can overcome the spin, the lies and the cover-ups, because for once – maybe for the first time ever – ordinary people now have the tools to fight back.
That’s why we have to show the ‘fixers’ they no longer have a free hand to spread disinformation at will. We have to show them that the world has changed by making sure the truth about Steven Messham is known.
Here it is.
There is absolutely no doubt that Steven Messham was abused and raped as a child. Two of the leaders of the children’s home he was in were convicted and jailed for abusing the children under their care there.
The convicted abusers also happened to be fellow golf club members and friends of a cousin of Lord McAlpine – Jimmie McAlpine – who lived nearby and is most likely one of the ‘rich’ men Steven remembers abusing him.
Not surprisingly, Steven’s abuser didn’t introduce himself formally and give him his exact name while he was raping him.
The McAlpine family tree is fiendishly complicated and it was the police who wrongly gave Steven the name of Lord McAlpine in the abuse allegations.
See here for how similar the two men are.
But Steven’s suffering unfortunately didn’t even stop when he left the care home. He was also later wrongly accused of fraud – another obvious attempt by the establishment to shut him up – but he was completely cleared of all charges. Indeed, if Steven had enough money of his own – I’m sure he would now be suing the Mail on Sunday and David Rose for libel for suggesting otherwise.
The truth is that Steven Messham is a remarkable man – a survivor who has taken on the might of the establishment and is still standing.
I take my hat off to him. He’s a stronger man than I am – and a better man than all those seeking to blacken his name in order to preserve their comfortable status quo.
So if you have a blog, write about it – reblog this article if you don’t want to write it yourself – and if you’re on Twitter or Facebook or Google+ or whatever – share share share.
This time, let’s make sure we don’t allow the lies and the spin and the disinformation to win.

If this true to help the poor guy can we see the categoric evidence?
Most are still stuck at accusations’, not helped by BBc incompetence. . .

The owner of the care home and others who worked there have already been found guilty and have served time in jail. This is not in dispute. The question of whether more powerful people were involved – and their identities – is the unresolved question now.

The power of the internet came to our rescue in Jersey. I hope that my research into David Rose will be of use to you. The work we bloggers have undertaking in Jersey over these past 4 years is now coming to fruition. We have dismantled the establishment cover-up. We did this by side stepping our local media.
The victims and survivors of abuse in Jersey and elsewhere deserve nothing less than the truth to be published.
Do not give up
Do not show fear
I have not finished with David Rose and what he did in Jersey. The difference with the Jersey situation is that I caught him. Not only that. I also nailed the SIO who was doing it.
Steven Messham – You are not alone. All in this together.
I must make it clear, as I get asked so many times, I’m not a victim of abuse. I was born into a loving family.
The fight for Truth -Honesty and Justice involves us all

John – the Waterhouse report concluded categorically that Steven Messham had experienced sexual abuse. This fact is no longer disputed (except it seems by you!).
The question now is by whom exactly was he abused.

In that case a simple link should be no problem. A search of the 65 page report reveals nothing

In his report, Waterhouse accepted that Messham (witness B) had been repeatedly abused and psychologically damaged.
In this article, there are details of what Steven told the Waterhouse report and some of the Waterhouse conclusions:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2012/nov/06/welsh-childrens-home-inquiry-abuse
What’s very strange about your doubts is that even Lord McAlpine himself accepts Steven Messham was sexually abused – just obviously not by him.
Here’s what Lord McAlpine had to say about Steven in his statement:
“I have every sympathy for Mr Messham and for the many other young people who were sexually abused when they were residents of the children’s home in Wrexham. Any abuse of children is abhorrent but the sexual abuse to which these vulnerable children were subjected in the 1970s and 1980s is particularly abhorrent. They had every right to expect to be protected and cared for by those who were responsible for them and it is abundantly clear that they were horribly violated. I have absolutely no sympathy for the adults who committed these crimes. Those who have been convicted were deservedly punished and those who have not yet been brought to justice should be as soon as possible.”
If even Lord McAlpine accepts Steven was abused, why do you insist on doubting it?

How have we got to a stage where victims are systamatically bullied in this country?
Steve Meesham is one of many who have been dealt rough justice that values “reputation” over human suffering.
I await the day we see justice for Steve and all those people who have been victims of abuse. May they all take courage in the very real support from very real people who are not saying this for effect.
Many, people seek the truth and trust cannot be restored until it is found.
Denial is no longer good enough.

I think we’ve been stuck at this stage for a very long time.

I am not doubting anything just looking for a link to the categoric ‘stand up in a court of law’ evidence. Is that not a good place to start?

One gets the impression that5 caMoron and his toffs feel they have managed to sweep Steve Messham and his tragic story under the carpet. We must keep reminding him that this is not the case, and although caMoron and his filth-fascists want to forget him, we do not. We will not. CaMoron likes to think he’s ‘tough’. He loves that word. He is a bully ,as tough as a bully with a gang of henchmen behind him. On his own, he is a cowardly streak of shit.

It’s been in front of a crown court as well as a high court judge (Sir Ronald Waterhouse) who both concluded he had been sexually abused.
You obviously have some kind of motive to doubt the facts when nobody else does. Don’t tell me what it is though. I’m not really interested.

I have little to add to the ‘sensible’ comments other then a reminder that as the powers want to silence Steven Messham, they also want to silence those investigating.
If people haven’t already, please sign and share the petition supporting Leah McGrath Goodman in her quest to continue investigating the awful alleged mass abuse, torture and possible murder of children on Jersey.
People like Steven need all the support they can get in their rightful quest for justice
