(Not satire – it’s the BBC!)
The BBC was left reeling tonight after it uncovered itself trying to cover-up a cover-up it failed to uncover of it trying to cover up allegations of a cover-up of the Jimmy Savile sex abuse scandal.
The BBC’s uncovering of its own cover-up was uncovered by the BBC’s Panorama after it uncovered a cover-up by the BBC’s Newsnight which it is alleged was attempting to uncover a cover-up which was eventually only uncovered by ITV.
A spokesperson for the BBC tried in vain to explain what the f**k was going on:
All I know is that I’ve been ordered to explain that there’s been no cover-up whatsoever at the BBC. Apart from the one the BBC has uncovered tonight on Panorama of course.
In a related incident, the BBC has denied the BBC has accused it of attempting to hide from itself accusations that it may have been denying it had accused itself of not accusing itself of something it should have accused itself of.
In the meantime, children are being sexually abused on the BBC’s premises and everyone there is so busy trying to uncover each other’s cover-ups that nobody’s actually doing anything about it.

Excellent! And now on top of that, the BBC is covering up for the person who ordered the original cover up by ordering the pulling the Newsnight programme and that person who ordered that cover up is covering up for the government who are probably behind all the cover-ups, which is why they do not want an independent inquiry, in case it reveals the political cover up of all the cover ups!

Meanwhile, children were also being sexually abused in hospitals, Children’s homes, Broadmoor, Approved schools and in the wider community, by a man who hobnobbed with royalty; spent Christmas at Chequers with the Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher; was appointed by Edwina Curry to work at Broadmoor; allowed to wander at night, unsupervised in Leeds Infirmary and so on ….
The other much more important cover-up is that the furore around the BBC acts as a distraction from a wholesale abrogation of responsibility for children across a whole range of the establishment, police, journalists and the power elite. To talk about the biggest crisis in the history of the BBC because of the loss of public trust, is a bit rich given the non-reporting of the privatisation of the NHS, the Welfare Reform bill, Gove’s education reforms … the anarchic dismantling of public services; the lack of analysis or investigation of any of the implications; the unbelievably poor reporting of economics; and the uncritical regurgitation of palpable government lies and sleights of hand. The BBC has many more reason to worry about a loss of public trust than just their complicity with the repugnant behaviour of Saville and his ilk.

almost as if someone has promoted the Saville story as a way of covering-up all the other stuff The BBC is in agonised knots and the rest of the pack are too busy Schadenfreude feasting to have the time to cover anything else.

True. It reminds me of the perplexing reporting from Tahir square during the passage of the NHS bill. The scandal is the lack of reporting of the NHS.

Is not the point however that this cover up is such an exemplar of how top management is institutionally corrupt that here is a chance to precipitate real change. “Bloated careerism” and vested interests, backroom arm twisting and guilty consciences are all at the front here and we want none of them to prevail.
It’s time for real change.

I am just watching Andrew Marr on i player, interviewing Gregg Dyke and Ester Rantzen, the former DG of BBC 2000 – 2004 and the queen of BBC prime time and Childline..
My 45 years on this earth have bestowed upon me, much intuition into human nature and body language.
Watching this particular interview, it is clear that certain old timers in the BBC are clearly rattled by allegations and investigations.
The comment by greencentre above says what we all know, that huge institutionalised monoliths with massive beuracratic structures, lend themselves to hiding the wood amongst the trees.
Greg Dyke and Ester are saying that, “no stone must remain un-turned and that there must be no cover ups, whilst the whole case is dealt with consistently”.
Hang on folks, the BBC are no longer the only organisation under scrutiny.
The current BBC news editorial team, are talking about saVILE on every news item, like a child writing lines on behalf of an older bully, I must repent the sins of the older boys, I must repent the sins of the older boys etc.
Probably in the hope that either we will tire of it, or forget about it, or America declares war on China or something to make it all go away.
Nah, saVILE wasn’t the only one, the Hubris of the untouchables in the establishment has started to be un-covered and many have much to fear from a popular witch hunt.
People are deeply pissed off in this country with present and now past social injustice. As we all suspect the previous governments have all been holding our feet to the fire and blaming us for lighting it.
This institutionalised imorality is being un-covered, giving the cliched silent majority some vision and courage which I hope raises a consciousness and awareness, that leadership is about working for the greater good.
With UKIP and the right wing referring to an “under-class” in their political bile and rhetoric, instead of addressing poor people as what they really are, poor, ill, disenfranchised, neglected and marginalised.
The real under class are those who claim the trappings of wealth and privilidge whilst treating other human beings as little more than animals or toys for their use and discharge.
Tom Watson exercised parliamentry privilidge to ask the PM during PMQ’s about further abuse cover ups going right up to the top of politics.
Tom Watson is a proper Mod, with the spirit of the 60’s Modern aspirations in his veins, a proper working class hero.
The Time has come for us working class, ordinary people to take up the heroic calling, to support the revolution.
Well done Tom for being a pivotal figure in our learning and awareness of what is going on, with a healthy dose of satire. (Although a lot of your postings are more factual than satirical of late?????)

John Sergeant, on This Week with Andrew Neil last night, has clearly been on a Tony Bliar finishing school course.
“But, on the basis of what he said on Monday, he should not resign” he insisted, talking of Entwistle. The rider so misdirects one’s thinking but, in fact, it’s what Entwistle did NOT say on Monday that should cause his resignation.
And so on…….
To me Sergeant seemed to be politically picking his words to meet a perceived need. Portillo and Johnson, on the same programme, were just too timid and offered nothing of consequence. Instinctive-defensive disinterest.

I don’t see all that much difference between satire and facts. Except maybe that satire is usually more truthful than reality.

In other news – British Brainwashing Corporation quango will soon announce another increase to the licence fee after spending £30 million on deciding what colour whitewash to use regards Saville, since white whitewash was deemed ‘inherently racist’ they eventually decided to add some ‘wheelie-bin’ puke-green tint. Meanwhile, alarmed at the weakening effect of the cathode-cosh on the sheeple, the Mourdock news corp, in association with Radio Times Promotions, will offer now offer subscribers a lifetimes supply of free munchable mogadon pills and a range of full frontal lobotomies accompanied by a billion £ advertising campaign extolling the benefits of a borderline-retard society

Yeah and the wallpapering continued. Big noise from Mark Thompson, DG til Entwistle took over in September (don’t time fly and memories fade!), saying :
“Nobody ever told me anything about it so it wasn’t me. You can’t pin anything on me. It wasn’t me. I didn’t do it. Shut up and go away. Leave me alone. You’re all being very beastly. Anyway, I hate Jeremy Paxman.”
Actually, I thought ignorance of an event or a corporate stratagem was not an excuse. Especially if you are the DG of the BBC, even if you’re actively looking forward to your retirement.

Did anyone watch Newsnight last night beating around the bush and saying not very much for half an hour about a senior Tory politician who everyone knows is a gross child rapist?
The BBC are afraid to disclose it in public in case they get in trouble for it?
Does it make it easier for us or them wait till he is dead?
If the whole damn country stands up to these monsters, they can’t jail every one of us.
In law, that is the principle of a class action.
In effect, a mutiny.
If a Captain fails to run his ship properly and equitably, then the whole crew have a right to insist they are removed as captain until another, suitible one is found.
About time this took place, because if senior politicicians beleive that children in childrens homes, hospitals and institutions are solely to be exploited for some such personal pleasure, then it pretty much explains the way the whole establishment views “poor and vulnerable children” condeming them to a life of misery and self loathing?
If these vile people can view children with such bitter, selfish contempt, where do, young, old, sick and disabled people figure in their plans and provisions?
I think the evidence of this is plain to see?
Time to out these monsters, once and for all….
If a peoples court can be established under common law, without interference of the “establisment” we can finally rid society of this cancer of vile human nature that protects itself and its depraved behaviour behind walls of privelidge and legal smoke and mirrors.
Trial by facebook isn’t going to work, but we have the gift of communication now.
For this to be resolved by conventional methods, I fear, we would need a revolution and revolutions usually set a nation back.
A revolution says a “rotation”.
What we need is a complete over haul of the institutionalised, entrenched and incompetent.
Like so many people being forced to apply for their own jobs in the “real world”.
A fresh and fair, democratic system, where we allow these Men to fall on their swords, speak of the truth and accept their punishment for their actions as an example to society, that power corrupts and that we shall note allow anyone to have absolute power over us.
The fabric of our society and national reputation is at stake here.
We cannot fudge this too much longer, as did the BBC over Savile and the CEOP investigation into Ore.
There is too much running and hiding going on.
You cannot hide a parasitic cancer, you must cut it out .
