(Not satire – it’s G4S!)

Did you know G4S have a corporate song?

Talk about hubris – but it’s true. It’s awful obviously, but you can listen to it, watch it, read the lyrics here if you really must.

Anyway, in the light of their complete fiasco over supplying security guards for the Olympic Games it got me thinking there must be quite a lot more appropriate songs that they could now use to express their corporate identity.

Here are a few I came up with:

Strangeways Here We Come – The Smiths
You Know I’m No Good – Amy Winehouse (RIP)
This Masquerade – The Carpenters
Ghost Town – The Specials
It’s Too Late – Carole King
Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word – Elton John

Money For Nothing – Dire Straits
